Hi June
I was on the phone to my sisters in Geelong.
There is always something else to be done when I would rather be on here.
Congratulations on TOPP's.
The new camera sounds great.
You will have to run it in and put some pics up on site.
I have to log off as son is in bed here.
Have a good night.

June, you have done better than me in the not been put to sleep. I have only experienced it once in my 53 years, even then it was a general anesthetic but I was out of hospital 4 hours later.

Goom Maen and coffeeis on late , but it is here!

Brenda, sorry about no coffee this moning, I had to toddle off to the doc this morning for lab work after an urgent appointment yesterday afternoon, Last patient of the day yesterday in a busy practice, and a work in appointment, OH My I was there till after 6 pm and thier lab was already cosed for the day! back this AM EARLY for the lab, they were not going to be there all day. a very good thing this is only 15 min trip for me!

Continuing tummy pains into the fourth day after the colonoscopy needed some check up of few things "just to be sure". problem basically is my insides did not like being fooled around with and complained a bit. they will get over it in time, but to be safe, antibiotics and for comfort something to stop the spasms causing the pain. Tests were to make sure I was not bleeding somewhere in there and that was negative, so YEAH, into the weekend without that worry . Just makes me a tad sleepy (most medicine does I think) so I am back to bed now and everyone can help themselves to coffee.

see you all later, and then I can finish reading all the posts.

I just read of the emergency landing of the Quantus flight from London to Melbourne, Wow, sounds like that pilot did a fantastic job of getting that plane landed safely, with a hole that big in the side of the plane! Good work and so happy all were well, no injuries, but a brief stop over in Manila for them! I did not find the time this happened, did any of you know about it? Ahhh, I do see the dateline said Friday, in Manila. Like that helps me without world clock! Currently 1:57 am Saturday in Manila, thank you clock

MAMA, welcome back, we are here for you and will follow your lead in your choice of topics for conversation. If you need distraction, we will tell you stories, like all the ones now about spot removals! you need to laugh, we have a joke or amusing kitty cat or puppydog story for you. Or some cute thing one of the littles or hubbies did, or even tell tales on ourselves. hehe.

I was chatting with a quilting buddy and talked about Hurricane Debbie, in Texas, She dryly said, Tricia, here our forecasters are discussing Hurricane Donna making landfall from the gulf. do you have your own private hurricane Debbie??

I fixed her, told her, yep, no only do I have my own private hurricane Debbie, I am living in my own little world now, thanks to modern chemistry hehehe. So if I have made any little bobbles on here, please overlook till I get back to what passes for normal for me.

I was just Wheeeing in cyber space, not out in the yard on that mower! Remember, cyber space mowing machines can fly pages with the greatest of ease!

Brenda, thank you, yes, I feel better with no worries over the weekend. sometimes you just need to let the doc make a call about , "is this anything to worry about?" there was enough of a possibility in the nurses mind to get me a same day appointment and enough in his mind to justify the tests. Now, gone is the possibility of getting worse over the weekend and costing me and insurance both more for an ER visit you know!

BEAN, I forgot what hubby ws hammering yesterday, should I run ask> I do know today he is putting the finishing touches on partition walls for the someday bedroom suite dome. He is doing the time consuming part now, where a straight square walls meet the curved and not a 90 degree angle in sight dome. Lots of compound angles and scratching of his head.

Morning everyone!

Crazy day here today, but with hubby's help it will work out in the end. I think. Hang on while I check times....

Yep, it's do-able....

d2 has to be at netball before 10.30, I meet friends for coffee at 10.30. Step in hubby who will drop her off and then go home to work on his 3 assignments. I will pick d2 up from netball after coffee and take her to the first choir meeting of the year (they put on a carols show at Xmas with about 5000 in the crowd). Then I'll stop and the shops to pick up a couple of things, take them home and prepare a plate to take to a party tonight starting at 6.30.

I have said this before, but I have never been so tired.
I never get up this late usually, but it's happening too often.
Yesterday afternoon fell asleep at the kitchen table at 4.30pm doing Sudoku.
Struggling to find the energy to do things.
Maybe I can put it down to getting over the two operations I have had recently.
All I know is I hate it.

Just dropped in for another unwind before I go to the party. Good news today - I hope it works out to be good news! d2 is going to be a featured artist with a solo at the carols - Rudolph the red nosed reindeer. At her age there is absolutely no way I could have stood in front of a few thousand people let alone sing a song!!!

There is a bad news part to the story - she is too big to be a reindeer, and couldn't do the quick change if she wasn't, so she will be Frosty and have the solo and may not be on stage much other than that unless she sings with the adult choir. 16 and over is the guideline and she is 12, but it has been mentioned as a possibility.

Bean, thanks for your kind thoughts. I am getting better, slowly. The pain is down to mild discomfort more than pain now. It is the foggy brain and sleepies I am struggeling with now.

Elise, I have not fallen asleep at the table and I have not slept more than usual, I am sleepy, groggy but having trouble falling asleep and like you, I am tired of this! I have been searching to find a way to get over this, sooner rather than later, and so far, not finding anythng. If I do, I promise to share with others who are struggeling to get back to normal after surgery and anesthesia.

OK, I have missed a message from Gail it seems, I am thinking some problem with her Mom and she had to take off to sort that out? GAIL, if that is correct, thinking of you and your Mom and glad the medicine for whatever for your mom worked better.
