Hello All....Thanks to those who have asked me to be your friend.....of course all of you are my friends, and of course I accepted...but I have also declined to be seen online feature so that I can tic it when I am actually on the site, not busy doing other stuff...this way, I can be seen when I'm ready and able to chat. Do I now need to ask others to be on my list? or since I've accepted I'm ok? Still a little confused...but that's par for the course. I'll give it a little time and I'm sure the kinks will work themselves out.

Lovely to see you Mamcita, Like you I feel all here are my friends. Hope the wedding preparations are coming along. It will be a bitter sweet day.

Once you have accepted you don't need to invite that person back. I worked that one out last night! I had problems with not seeing people who were there, but I'm not too worried about it!

I had a lovely post that did not go through, to Vici and to Rena and now I have totally forgotten what was so important to tell them. Today I am tired, and when tired I forget more. I had a new cleaning lady, who helps me to do the sucky thing and clean the bathrooms. Just having to show her where things were and trying to do my few little chores, without geting in her way, well, it was tiring. My story and you know the rest.

Yes, that is it, I had told Vici that I wpoould come to dinner with her, and that Gail had lovely menu items as usual, and Rena, I hoped her computer was repaired soon and at no great cost.

VICI, would you like either a chair avatar or your name avatar? I have done a lot of the names you see on this site, well, none on this page, but a few pages back. I had an idea for one last night, and played around with it, and HOPE I saved it fore going to bed last night. Just let me know if you would like. You have done lovely avatars from photos, but have not seen any with spelling

Why do pages seem to load slowly when you're in a hurry? I know I only have a few minutes so am impatiently waiting and tapping my foot.

VICI, Now about the chair avatar, you see, we started having " meetings" and for meetings you need chairs, so everyone got chairs. then we got away from using them for a while.

Suzy, I have noticed that pages load slower on occasion since the friends thingy. not sure if that is the reason or not.

Did you feel the earthquake about an hour ago? Just got a call from daughter to say they were OK, before I read it on the news. Not very big, and just south of LA for the epicenter.

Any favorite colors? I use a print shop program for doing these and changin gcolors is easy!

Easier than typing at the moment hehehe.

BTW, my chair is a recliner, I really like the look of it, but it probably looks better than it sits, since its arms are wooden.

No shakin' going on were we are - we are about 8 hours north east of LA ...and we are ensconced (sp?) in granite. Keeping good thoughts for all those down south and glad it doesn't seem like a very big one.

Glad you did not get all shook up, Daughter says it was a bit unnerving. I think we all are accustomed the earth being a constant, and solid under our feet.

I think the whole debate is a storm in a teacup. I think of it as a new toy. If it is slowing down the pages that might be a problem, but with my connection it's really hard to tell the difference between long and longer...

Good morning SA5ers - it's nice to be here - 3 days in a row. Have a wonderful day. And you're all my special friends here - even if I haven't yet clicked on the option for everyone. My pooter is on all day, unless we go out. So I may be showing as on line when I'm actually off doing 'stuff'.

I have been off for almost an hour CynB and didn't log off while I was gone. Figure I might as well start as I mean to continue!!

I would have to make almost everyone on the site my 'friend' if I was to pick the people I like - like to chat with, think are fun, think are nice people, am impressed by etc. Instead I will play around with it and maybe add as I go, or not. Time will tell.
