Hello and welcome! I have enjoyed this site for maybe 2 years and decided on Feb. 10 to become a member. Jokes and recipes are my favorite comments. I am actually from France but after 2 years in Japan and 29 in New York, I settled in Montréal 4-5 years ago. I teach languages and music (the harp, in particular - yes, the discreet instrument with strings attached!), work part-time in a Bible Society and sing in an Anglican choir.

HI Muriel, and welcome to sudoluland! I am glad you decided to become a menber! I like the jokes and the recipes also. One of Rolanda's recipes that I posted has become a family favorite!

I live in a rural area of Alabama, Down in the south east corner of the USA. We are having spring like temps these last 3 days, up to the 60's, but expect rain tomorrow and a cooler 45 on Wednesday. Love the warm winters here.

Yes, Muriel, this is a neighborly place here. Always someone home too, for a chat or a cheery hello. Looks like your name did not stay up long as the "latest member", someone must have joined right after you did. Well, just wade right in on the board, and make a comment or 2, peoople will learn that you are here then!!

Sorry I missed you first day on this friendly forum. Please feel free to come and join us for a natter on sudokuaholics annonymous3. Just post a message and someone is sure to reply.. though because of time differences it may take a while or if you are lucky once you have refreshed after posting someone might be there. As you will see we talk about anything and once we get going the pages fly by.

If you have been around for a couple of years you no doubt have a lot of us summed up............It is only 11 months since I first started playing Sudoku and only about 6months since I scrolled down and discovered there was a lot more happening than a few 9 x 9 puzzles!!!! Some days I don't even get the puzzle done!!
Post often and do drop in and get to know us all well.
