Be kinder than necessary,

for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle .

Live simply,

Love generously,

Care deeply,

Speak kindly.......

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain.

~

Life hands us many different things, good and bad. One of the greatest gifts we receive is the love of a good friend. Thank You so much, Billster, I am blessed! You are a priceless treasure, I wish everyone could experience your kind heart xx

Cote de tiaraettes perfume to dig for! A new line perhaps.. These past few days have been digging and digging and I think I may have seen the little animals in the boat off your photo..can you have hallucinations at temperatures reaching 1000 degrees C, wearing Morlockian bikini has helped but...

Oh Billster I know you mean well but although I didn’t ‘nitice’ the burnt crusts in the bin but I did notice them. You know you really shouldn’t be so modest about your culinary skills, you know very well that you taught me how to make Paneer Butter Masala. You also know that it wasn’t your crocs that trashed my knee it was when I missed catching you coming out of that piroette. You should also know that was not sand but cous cous I was bringing home in my suitcase. Your Mum did not tell me off, she told YOU off and then you blamed moi. The men! Well I don’t forgive you for that one lol Oh and BTW they are not roses they are peonies and they have no scent. Thanks for a great time you Silly Billy (is there anything else that rhymes with that) rotfl xx (I will put pics on my page as soon as I see which ones you have on here :)

Hey Billy, did you check out details of the Mug of Heaven in the food liftout of the paper today? It is a Nestle product with choc chips to be microwaved into hot choccie. I did buy the Cadbury Velvet which was similar but consisted of chocolate shavings. To my shame I ate the whole tin so had to buy another to try the hot choccie, but after I ate the contents of that tin too I gave up!

Study break musings...

Am I strange? Am I the only one who thinks of these things?
I awoke to someone trying to start their car this morning. They tried and tried and tried...but nothing...even I was willing it with all my strength (though I was lying prostrate)to start...then i thought they would be late for work, or perhaps someone was waiting for them, or would they miss their flight...their Sunday had turned to sh*te and I would never find out if they were ok...it should not have irked me - but it did.
I won't go into why it took my neighbour 45 mins to change my lightbulb for me, that was after 15 mins of realising that I could not do it, although at least I had figured out it was a s*rew fitting and not a bayonet fitting.
I also don't like being an official time-keeper for netball - no one trusts me...what's 6 seconds after all? Don't they know that there are people in this world who have never heard of netball? Give me a break...
Ok - feeling better now...

There is a fantasmogorical olde worlde sweet shop in Birmingham that is in its orginal state as an olde shop. You can buy all the sweeties and they put them in a paper bag. Hundreds of old fashioned sweets lined up in the big jars...its next to the theatre and I can't think where... sigh

hello, billy. You are so truly incredibly wongerful to think of me... thanks. Autumn colors have not yet really appeared, but will soon... leaves are beginning to turn. We can have another cote party and enjoy some hot chocolate in anticipation of cooler days, if you want. Or we could just have a cote party. Or just the hot chocolate. Might have some now...

Hey nonny nonny...

anne - if you had your own page i would say to you: it has been pretty obvious that you have been absent - and I certainly do miss you, you are one of the reasons that i am still here... i know that sounds soppy/mushy - but hey nonny ho -what the hey? so all these warm fuzzy sentiments are having to be said here - hope you don't mind...
I'm thinking maple syrup, I'm thinking pancakes, I'm thinking pancake stacks with lashings of maple syrup...I 'm thinking of bucketfuls of hot chocolate - I must get a pic on here of my mug i use at work - they blame me for the water shortage here in perth...where was i ? oh yes - hot chocolate - we could have a cote party that stands for "chocs of the enchanted..."

hey nonny hey..x

...i should have added anne that you are one of the most warmest, sincere people on this site with a sense of humour that 'tickles my fancy'...a touch of 'barminess' that brings out the 'weirdness' in a few of us...but don't be a stranger - I went off on a tangent in my mind re maple syrup...vermont always has strong associations with it for me - carried bluddy bottles of it back with me to perth...x

Thank you, Sshhweet Billster, for your message. I have just landed and feeling a little fatigued but OK. I can see the rainbow even without my poloroids. Lots of Huggles to Bec; I hope you took 10 seconds off this this time!

thanks, billy. I hope you know how much I've appreciated your warmth and sincerity... and, er, barminess (though I'm not entirely sure what that means). You are a very special person indeed...

oh tosh anne!....'special' in that an extended stay at some institution for basket weavers would see me fit right in!
adj. barm·i·er, barm·i·est
Eccentric; daft.
adjective
1. marked by spirited enjoyment [syn: zestful]
2. informal or slang terms for mentally irregular; "it used to drive my husband balmy" [syn: balmy]

however, barminess does not appear for some reason...

I expect your days must be getting cooler now as ours warm up? I'm going for a weekend away doing circular walks/hikes - not round and round in circles - in the Margaret River region ( 3 and a half hours down south where GMO visited with her family) - I don't think the weather will be kind so I'll take my wet-weather gear just in case. If i don't catch you around the traps - have a lovely weekend. x
