Be kinder than necessary,

for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle .

Live simply,

Love generously,

Care deeply,

Speak kindly.......

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Hi Billy! It is Perth, Australia! The company's name is Make an Impression. They requested the water lily reflected in the pool. I am so excited! After so many years taking photos and listening to friends and family tell me over and over "you should sell them" I finally did!

David - the gentleman I have been corresponding with - did say they are a small greeting card company, nothing like Hallmark. My response was that I was not Ansel Adams Hope David has a sense of humor.

billy, thank you so much. What a great Youtube. I loved the music, and, because I'm a birdwatcher, thouroughly enjoyed the pictures too. You must have been posting your comment while I was updating my page, so, did you see the Dowland lute offering?

Stalk away. I'll run just slow enough so you can catch me. I once made a lute from a kit that looks and sounds exactly like the one he's playing. I wonder if he got the same kit. I still haven't posted the pics from our last trip, so you were looking at pics from our Canadian Rockies train trip. I'll post the new ones soon.

Hi Billy! Boy, am I out of the loop! Just had a look at your pictures. That Karon Beach sunset is gorgeous! Do I take it you have been to Thailand recently? I so rarely get to read comments on the site anymore I don't know what's going on half the time. I keep meaning to ask if you are studying for a degree or something? Oct. just flew by for us, & soon we are expecting a visitor from Switzerland & my NC daughter & her family. I thought retirement was supposed to be a slower way of life, but it sure doesn't seem so for us!! Take care.

thought that this might help you The week before your big walk, training expert Ed Eyestone recommends coating your feet with petroleum jelly before bedtime, and pulling on some socks. The jelly will soften the calluses and skin on your feet. By the end of the week, your skin will be so supple that blisters will have a hard time forming during your trek. Gotta start now billster!

So you heard about the amazing flee-from-the-zillion-and-one-flying-beetles-attracted-to-my-sunblock-omg-whip-my-top-off dance? one little blister which a horse med cream put to rights, quite a few scratches and bruises, and my pills (vitamin supplements)increased to include hayfever tablets (due to the copious amount of dust i inhaled) and anti-inflammatories, as i was carting around a tonne on my back due to the water i had to drink...actually ems advice on foot protection worked, lathered up my footsies with vaseline before setting off each day - weird sensation that...

glinda, dearest one - thank you, it must have been revolting - the toast that is. Maybe we should suggest that vaseline should be flavoured as it does have the advantage of spreading easily?x
19/Nov/07 9:21 AM
glinda  From maine
billy, that is a fine idea. I will try my first by blending some peanut butter with the vaseline. Also, if you put the vaseline on the bread before toasting it, it has the advantage of greasing the works of the toaster, which is also useful. I will get the toast down from my ceiling later.
