You can take the girl out of Texas but not the Texas out of the girl and ultimately not the girl out of Texas.

Well, why not! I was just passing and heard all this giggling and I find you playing about on your pages! Life's too short not to have fun and take time to smell the roses. Good onya, more of it, I say!
Take care Kate, hope you have a great festive season,
Gail

to you to Sudokuland, along with a Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie for you and your guests.

There’s lots to do around here, places to visit and chat. I'm just around the corner, stop in anytime for more pie and a video.

Thanks Kate for your reply re the wind energy. I've seen wind farms in Scotland and in parts of Australia. I wonder if the Texan ones sre similar. They don't have the grace of the old mills do they?
Is that your daughter- very cute.
Re your Youtube. It took me back to childhood in Viuctoria when we used to swing by the rope into the river. FANTASTIC FUN. In NT I have seen a swing rope in a wonderful inaccessible waterhole. You'd want to be careful here. There may be a croc jumping to meet you.

Hi kate, Thanks for the message. I haven't been back on site for a while. NT stands for Northern Territory- a "state" of Australia - in the middle at the top - Home to Darwin (capital- but more like a big town, Uluru (Ayers Rock) Kakadu and other world known sites. It's fairly sparcy populated, has lots of wilderness and varies in landscapes from tropical and big rivers to central dessert - Lots of escarpments and gorges and big big flats.

Well Kate, I know it's not really your birthday until tomorrow here in North America, but you deserve a two-day site birthday like everyone else! Happy birthday! Hope you have fun with your family and friends!
