Win, some of the colleges here in the US are having demonstrations against the continuing economic and political support by the Chinese for the junta in Myanmar. It is not much yet, but perhaps it will grow and our politicians, and those who import Chinese goods for sale here, will listen. Such things have happened before. Please be careful.

Hello Win - Here is a belated I am sorry I am late. (It helps now that Gath has listed the New Members.) Anyway, here is a great big welcome to Sudokuland. Hello Win - Thanks for your visit! I would like to chat sometime. Please forgive me for my ignorance, but where in the world is Myanmar? We are in Fall here in Michigan. The leaves on our trees are changing to golds, reds and oranges. It is a very pretty time of the year. It is unusually warm today (70deg. F), but we are expecting storms this evening and it will most likely cool it down. Just leave me a message when you are most likely to be on the internet and maybe we can meet for a chat.

Hi Win, I have come to cheer you up...My poem, The Clock of Life was very depressing, but life is worth living, I am sorry if it made you feel even worse. I am 65 years young and hope to live for a long while yet. Computor alone is not the answer, we need friends and things to do. I like painting, knitting and writing. I also help others in psychotherapy and when I get much older, I will try to find other things that interest me. My dad lived to be 93 and he was always very happy to be alive, he kept busy with different things, like his children, his friends, crossword puzzles and other. He never complained about being alone. I wish you a bright day and many interest. Write to me again so we can find together things that will interest you.

Myanmar is former Burma. We are east of Thailand.
The capital is Yangon (former Rangoon). i've posted some more photos, so pls visit my flickr again,
some beaches and detailed photo of shwedgon.

win, how lovely to hear from you luvvie!! I hope you are enoying your time away and managing to keep out of harm's way when at home. We were looking at visiting Thailand again but ended up booking KL/langkawi in Sept, partly because I had promised my brother I would visit him.
