Hi win
Thank you so much for contacting me to let me know you are okay! I haven't been able to get to the site much for the last couple of weeks (my mother is visiting) and so I would have missed it.

I am soooooooo glad you are okay, and hope you stay that way! It was wonderful to hear from you!

Win, I was reading in the newspaper how the supplies were having problems coming into your country. I feel heartened that you are ok and that the supplies are reaching you. When you can come on again let us know are you in your home or a secure shelter. My hopes and prayers are for you and your family.

Glad you are safe and I hope that the citizens are getting the relief supplies from so many countries that wanted to help. I will continue to pray for you and those that are hurting there and in China from the Earthquake. Take care and do try to keep in touch - we worry for you.

Win, it was wonderful to hear from you last night.
Thank you so much for sharing with us. It gave us a true idea of the hardships your country has faced and the job ahead for recovery.
I am just so pleased that you and all your family are safe and well and that the damage your houses sustained is reparable.
Whenever you can, pop in, even if it's just for a sentence, to let us know how you are.

Hi Win!!! So good to hear from you! Hopefully you and your family are getting back to normal living. I include your country because Myanmar has so many beautiful structures of antiquity. There is so much history to preserve and hopefully Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is holding up in her house arrest.

Hi Win...thanks for the welcome.
What a fabulous picture from Myanmar. My book club selects a lot of books from your neck of the woods. We just got finished reading "The Piano Tuner" which takes place in Eastern Burma in the 1800's.
I look forward to meeting everyone on the site.
Thanks again for the warm welcome!

Hello Win, and great news on the birth of your new grandson. Is this your first grandchild? My best to his parents! How is everything in your world? Have things settled down and is the country getting back to normal after that terrible disaster? Take care and stay smiling!

Hello Win - I understand about "slow" internet connections. We have "dial-up" here at home. I am patient! I bet that grandbaby has grown already! They grow so fast that first year. I hope all is well with you and your family!

Hello win. I am sorry that you were worried. All is well here in my part of Florida (near Tampa on the west coast). Tropical Storm Fay made landfall way south of us & then moved up the middle of the state to the east of us. The winds never reached hurricane strength, but it's possible the T.S. may strengthen when it gets to the Atlantic Ocean & then turn back & go across the northern part of FL. This has been a VERY strange storm! I hope things are returning to normal in your part of the world. The damage you sustained there was FAR worse than here. Stay well & happy. Thanks for checking on me.

It has been a while win, we had some good times in chat. Maybe one day soon hey.
How goes things for you? Have you got better access to the internet etc? Is it any closer to 'normal' for other parts of the country?
I am so pleased to hear the news that your grandson is growing, very well by the sounds of it!
so much for your good wishes, they are returned to you tenfold.

Hi Win, I have not seen you lately in the easy page (I am not there very often) but it came to my mind the bad situation you had to go through with the mother nature bad behavior last May. I hope your country is recovering to normal situation. I enjoyed very much your nice photos at flicker. It could be good to put some description about what it is in the pic.
Keep smiling.

Hello win, my friend, it is so good to hear from you again. It HAS been such a long time, hasn't it?
I am very sorry to hear about your back, I know exactly what you mean about these 'old-age' pains, almost worse than the growing pains of childhood! Hubby and I have recently started a vegetable garden, which is a wonderful thing to do, but the pain the next day!!! Getting up and down to dig and plant etc makes me feel like I have run a marathon! Oh well, think of the benefits.
I truly do hope we get a chance to catch up again in the chatroom, I will look out for you.

Let's plan a BIG get-together! Let's tell everyone if they can to the chatroom at a certain time where we'll be able to party! Or plan an imaginary get-together and discuss and argue where would be the best place to meet and what would be the theme!

Hello Win! I appreciated your nice comments on my page. I do wish I could have visited Myanmar, but four countries were all we could manage on this trip. Maybe someday we will get back to that part of the world. I had also hoped to see the more rural parts of northern Thailand. We enjoyed the people & sights of SE Asia very much & learned a lot about the history there, Buddhism, etc. I have now visited a total of 32 countries & hope to see many more before I die! Hope things are getting back to normal where you live. Stay well
