gannie mo great photos!
I didn't know one could get 'homesick' for a place that you weren't born to, but my seven years in france was a while ago and your beautiful photos make me homesick! specially the ones with some of the buildings nestled in to remind me really what country they belong to...
beautiful.

I just enjoyed another journey through your lovely photos. I loved talking with you! What a life you lead!

Just saw your comment re my jaunts in the garden - I was getting burnt to a crisp on my little step ladder that the chances of getting skin cancer were getting higher than lung cancer...but gosh i do miss them!

Mo your photos are beautiful. x

Your latest photos are absolutely stunning - postcard perfect. I'm sure everyone is waiting for you next entries. I would love to see some of these latest offerings on the jigsaw page. Since Monday, I've gotten a little over 6 miles walked pulling a golf cart. Some of it through the heavy grass unfortunately.

Hi jeb Our course is so waterlogged that we are carrying. Now that's gotta burn a few extra calories.

Hi Ganniemo, Thanks for the thoughful hug and good wishes sent Sully's way. He ased me to be sure to tell you thanks. I think he also said 'Oh yeah, that's the lady with the big legs right?' He has always admired big, pretty legs, and you fit the bill for him. He sure didn't marry me for my little chicken legs...lol

I forgot to tell you that you are about to be presented with another gold star for continued accomplishments. 9000 steps - great! This was a rest the body day, although Jazz and I did walk for about a mile this morning, and I've maintained the food portioning and water intake. I won't get to the gym tomorrow either so will make it up Fri. and Sat. Keep up your good work, you inspire me to keep going too!

Just checking in after golf which gave me a step total of 13,284 steps today. Think I'll take a lighter day tomorrow. Dog had a day off. Steve says she slept all day.
After golf I had a Bowen treatment to aid detox. I'll let you know what happens!

Hi Mo. You continue to post beautiful pictures on your site. You have raised my curiosity though... why did the barges stop working on the River Dordogne? Did modern transportation costs drive them out of business?

Good Morning, I read of all your steps yesterday, way to go. I have to invest in a new pedometer, but I am still keeping up walking as much as I can, parking in the last stall at the stores, etc.. Water going well and have been discplined about meals. I am going to weigh in about an hour and will post after that what loss there is, if any

Heck Mo. You and Steve could have crossed Canada in six months on a dog sled. Sounds like you had a deluxe honeymoon in style. Good on you!

I only did 8500 steps today that is 5000 less than yesterday and it seems the rain is back for at least 5 days.
I have started doing the twist in the bathroom before I body brush and shower. Now there is a sight to spur on my weight loss and body toning. I wish I'd thought to cover the mirror!!!

Mo, you're doing so well on your program. You are disciplined to stay 'dry.' A better woman than I indeed.

Hi again Mo: I'm done playing for today, so a little, more serious dialouge. It is rather disapointing to see the 'traditional' modes of transporting goods disappear in Europe. They were always part of the mystic. Here in Canada the railroad is already suffering heavily due to transport costs, despite the large area of our country, so how can one expect barge transport to survive. Rather sad when you think of it. So much history, culture and job loss for people as we 'modernize'. Guess I'm just getting older and wishing things wouldn't move as fast as they are moving. C'est la vie, but lord knows what our grandchildren will face as they grow up.

Hey GannieMo, Put Chubby Checker on as you do the twist and grab Steve and do a little bumping too. Life can be so much fun when you become creative .I've managed to walk three miles today. two this morning and one or better this evening. Jazz is always raring to go, and seems to thrive on the walking. Keep on doing it girl!

9701 steps today. Checking in early my left foot is killing me. As my trainer shoes were looking the worse for wear I got out my pld leather hiking boots from the back of the closet - now I remember why I put them there. Going to soak my poor feet then shower, slip into something comfortable (and warm) and relax and watch a DVD.
Back later

GannieMo, You have been so faithful in your walking and twisting and staying away from the wine, but putting away the water, that you have really earned your results the old fashioned way..you really worked it and have come out a winner in more ways than one. Great job. Hope you found some new walking shoes so you don't have to be uncomfortable again. I'm doing okay, and looking forward to getting back up to speed when I get over this congested period. Jazz and I have managed to walk for about a mile anyway today, and I'm saying with the lower food and higher water intake. We'll celebrate Sully's birthday tomorrow(our 16th) without cake, but will go out to a nice restaurant. Thanks for being so supportive to all of us. Hang in there and keep enjoying good results.

Hi Mo, What beautiful add ons on flickr! Do you sell any of your photos? Congratulations on your sticking to your diet and exercise program. It is wonderful and inspiring to see your numbers you post. I love your rational...If you eat something, but no one sees you eat it, it must not have any calories!...Not an exact quote, sorry. It reminds me of when I was a teenager, my mom and my brother had long discussions of things like 'If a tree falls in the forest and noone is there to hear it, does it make any noise?'.
It's cold and icy here. was in the mid 20's (degrees F) last night and got clear up to 33 F today. LOL on your diet and keep up the great work. Keep on Twisting!!!
