for the Birthday greetings. Breaking out of this place on Friday - my SIL is coming to give me a hand & hopefully get me moved. Meanwhile, I have a 10# limit on what I can lift, push or carry for at least another month.

Hi Rolanda
Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. Mrs S and I have been away for a fortnight in the sun on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We try and do that each year to get a break from the Tasmanian winter which actually hasn’t been too bad this year.
The weather was wonderful with no rain and maximums of about 25C (78F) each day. We also visited friends and generally had a great time.
Sorry, I did not respond earlier but I did not get any alerts that I had received messages but I really appreciate your message.

Hello Rolanda, thanks for checking out my latest photos. It was an amazing trip from start to finish. We had a brilliant pilot/guide who did a great job. You should give it a try!! I'm sure Peter would love doing it.

Wow, heart surgery! Have you fully recovered? I'll bet you have a lot more energy now than you did before the surgery.

Isn't grandparenting great? Do the boys live near you? My grandkids are 21, 18, 16, and 12 ... and they all live close by. We are so very lucky. Will Peter do well with retirement? My husband had so many hobbies that he eased into retirement seamlessly.

You are so lucky to live where Covid has been controlled. It is crazy here, and life is so different. We can't wait for our vaccine shots! Real life is out there somewhere waiting for our return ... Otherwise, we are fine ... and thank you for asking.
