very much for the well-wishes for my mum after surgery. One worries when they are in their late-nineties. She is much better now that the swelling has gone down. (Still putting ice on it though.) We have been lucky that she has been so healthy all these years. Right now she is planning on planting her vegetable garden.

Rolanda, thank you for your birthday wishes and thank you for passing on my hug to Gail and the handshake to Scotty. Gail told me that my messages had been faithfully delivered - I can ask no more. They are lovely people, aren't they?
