Quite the new picture on your page Nal! Is this your angry side because of the new commute! Looks like you were up close and personal when you took this. How far away were you?

Nal - Whenever I feel like getting closer to nature, I just take a walk through your Flickr photos. Do you always use a tripod when you take shots with your telephoto lens? I love the shots of the kingfisher & the heron(?) with the fish he caught. Along with being resilient, you are both patient & brave!

WOW Nal, Beautiful and scary at the same time. I love getting closer to nature via your pictures. Thanks for taking the chances others can't or won't to capture the real beauty that are gifts too often ignored. I wish you well in the travel you now face in getting back and forth to work. How much longer do you plan on working after 36 years...or are you one who will always work at something, so why not the tried and true?

Hey Nal, I've worked at the same hospital for 24 years and the commute has gone from 25 minutes to 1 hour over the years! Be careful with the new traffic you'll be facing.

Nal, I get great pleasure from looking through your photo gallery. The quality of your photos is consistently outstanding. You must have a very good camera and a very steady hand to capture such fine shots - plus, of course, a good eye for the best composition. Thank you for sharing your wonderful photographs with us.

Hi Nal. What a beautiful picture on your page! Your photos continue to amaze me. You should sumbit more photos to the site so that the people who don't visit our pages or Flickr can see them too! Cheers!

Thanks Nal for your concern, but I'm OK.
By the way, I think your photos are superb, best on the sukudo site by a country mile. Do you sell your photos or is it just a hobby?

Hey Nal, Thanks for your kind words of support. I really appreciate it. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around you having lost 60 lbs. No one would ever know looking at you.Good job of keeping it off. I too went to W.W's and lost 20 or so lbs, but I gave in to the fact that I had to take meds that increased my appetite and bloated me very often. I then felt since I was getting older, it was okay. I no longer feel that way! I think its more important than ever to not only lose the weight, but keep it off. I think I'm now ready to deal with both with my illness and meds, as well as my exercises and eating smarter, so that when I lose this time, I'll keep it off.Support like we have been getting on this site, will certainly help us to be successful.

Nal, I think your photos give immense pleasure to many people. I have bookmarked your site as a favourite. The thing that strikes me is the amount of praise that your photos generate - and often from professional photographers. This should tell you something about the quality of your photography and its popularity in the wider community. I think you are wonderfully talented and creative photographer.

Nal, hi. How are you? What a lovely bird! You would do well at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. I saw where you mentioned it on Ian's page. Ahhhhhhhhh. What a fond memory that evokes. Back to the late 80's, my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Miami, and we took in the festival before enjoying a little getaway to the Keys.

Enjoy your new camera. I went to Miami two weeks in a row. Every other is enough. If it were to see you that would be different.

Nal, I just came from your flickr site and your photos this year, all 20 days of them thus far, are just spectacular! Tell your boss that it is time to go. You should be with National Geographic, as some of your many admirers have said. The camera can only do so much. The real test is the person behind the camera. First one must realize what would be a good shot, them take the time and have the patience necessary to ensure that you get what you want. Secondly, always being prepared fo the unexpected, and grabing hold while you can. You do both seemingly with ease! You really have talent. Treasure it, and thanks for sharing it.

Nal Mamacita has said it. Your photography is superb. I want to put most of them in my favourites. How do I give them oscars or stars on flickr. I haven't fathomed that out yet.
I wish I had wildlife like that near me. Maybe we need to go off on a photography foray somewhere together and you can teach me to take bird pics like yours.
If I feel a bit down I often go look at your photographs, thank you.

Hi Nal. I finally had some time to go through all of your Flickr pictures. Wonderful experience. You have an incredible eye and insight for capturing the special picture. You should publish rather then share for free, as I'm am sure you would do well!

Hi nal
My exercise is going well. Slowed down a bit during this freezing weather we are having here.I weigh in on Monday morning but don't expect great weight loss this week, as I have been reintroducing a few things.
Changed coats for walk this morning and left little camera at home, and of course there were some lovely subjects; frozen small waterfalls with metre long icicles. That'll teach me not to check the pockets of my coat.
I have a small digital minolta as well as my HP707.
What I must get to grips with is the panasonic my husband gave me last year. I find it a bit too much to handle at the same time as the dog.

Hi Ian: Yes! I got my Nikon D80 (have got to be quiet about hubby going out riding his motorcycle now...Oh! Wait! He rides while I go shot.....hmmm....there might have been an ulterior motive for THIS present!)

nal, I thought I detected an improvement in the quality of your photos since Christmas - if that is possible. Perhaps the D80 was an ulterior motive but it is a very generous gift, they are superb cameras. Hubby must love you very much (or perhaps he loves his motorcycle more), Anyhow, it's none of my business. The photos are wonderful.

We are fine! - It was further up, towards the middle of the State. I am worried about Kathy, Ed, et al in that neck of the woods. Headed to their pages to check on them.

nal, i posted the above comment about 20 minutes ago. Since then I have been staggered by some more awards. I have sent the photo to the 'Winner' site but I have no idea of how to send it to the 'Sniffer' site. Do you have any advice?
