Nal, Your new picture and your welcoming sayings now on your page of course sent me flying to visit your flicker site again. I have no more adjectives that can be used to describe the beauty of your work so I shall tell you how they affect me. The feelings evoked when I look at your work are deep and moving, and happily, long lasting. Visiting and seeing your pictures stirs my very soul and trasports me into a state of tranquillity that is most comforting. This has been a difficult period for me. I have been concerned about my husband's health, lost a very good friend, trying to lose weight and very busy with church, community and social obligations and in need of some release. This trip to your flickr site has restored my serenity. Thank you for making this possible!

Nal, your photos are beautiful and give so much pleasure.
I should like some advice if you don't mind. My daughter is going to Costa Rica to count Sea Turtles in Sept, and then travels around S Am. She wants to buy a camera, but doesnt know what-she plans to take wildlife pictures and thinks she'll need a telecopic lens, and the camera to be manual as well as automatic. Would you give me your opinion on this, please? I'd much appreciate it. I hope everything goes well with you and yours. Cheers.

What a great picture Nal!

Nal, Just keep on taking your great shots. The feelings that keep you sane when you are doing your photo shoots allow your work to bring out those feelings in others. Sully is improving and things have returned to an even keel, although far too busy to not need time out to recharge my batteries occassionally, so I need you to have plenty of pictures for me to feast my eyes on. Your photography is described in the dictionary as eloquence in action, so if I was eloquent, it was due to being immersed in your work, but many thanks any way. Hope you find time to drop by again. Hope life is good in every other way and your mom is doing as well as you can hope for at this time in her life. Hang in there.

2-24 (Aussie time): Hi, Nal! I sure miss seeing you hanging around the site, and I hope that all is well with you and your lovely family. Your newest photos are terrific, so much that even though I don't watch CSI Miami, I turn it on at the beginning just to see more of the beauty of the city! XOXOXO

Hey Judy!
Hello Ian!
Mamacita, Canuk Greg....Hello everyone!

nal, what a superb photo! And quite funny too! Thank you for your information regarding cameras, and apologies for not getting back to you sooner. Imogen hasnt bought a camera yet, but will probably buy something not too expensive and fairly small for the trip, as she will be backpacking and weight is important (hence no tripods or beanbags!) and she's a bit worried that an expensive camera could get stolen, but your info will be very useful for later, so thank you. She wants to go to the Galapagos Is. and into the Amazon jungle too and to climb an active volcano. This photo at the top of your page - did you actually calculate your focal length and depth of field etc or does your camera do it automatically? It is so amazingly clear - and is the round bit at the top part of the plant or the lizard? Thanks again, nal. I'll let you know what she gets as soon as I know. All the best, Gillian

Hello Gillian, I think a small compact camera is the best for traveling. They have some with quite powerful digital zoom that will come very handy. Most dslr have the option of using them as a 'point and shot' camera. I do like to use mine as in the manuals modes - ''playing'' with the speed vs aperture (as manual as a digital will allow)
The lizard's dewlap (the round bit under it's neck) has the same color combination as the flower it was resting on. I was quite taken aback by the color coordination.

Hi Nal! - I just posted the comment below on Easy, but realized you may not have time these days to read all the comments there. So I am repeating here on your page:
Just now did the puzzle & was surprised to see people I recognized! Hi Nal! Hope you & family are all well. How's that long daily commute going? Are you getting used to it? We'll be driving to Miami tomorrow morning. Then will have to sit at the airport a LONG time until our flight leaves. I'll be thinking of you. Adios! (Am trying to brush up on my Spanish - )

P.S. Your new ''Cover'' photo on your page, the Flor de Loto, is fabulous. Have you considered giving up your day job & doing photography for a living? With your portfolio I'll bet you could find a job with a magazine or something!! But then if it were work, maybe you wouldn't enjoy it so much. Your delight in what you see is conveyed to ALL those who see your photos. Thank you for sharing your amazing talent.

Nal, What very beautiful photography. You truly do justice for 'nature at it's best!'. My daughter is taking photog. class this semester in High School so tomorrow I will show her your sight. She has the class camera this weekend and is supposed to take some animals in action.

Hi Nal, Thanks for the visit and letting me know that Florida is ready for me...I'm sure ready for Florida, even though we are stearing to warm up here somewhat, but we still have snow and ice on the ground. I'll only be in Florida for about 8 days...too much going on at home for a month's visit, and Sully and I will be in town on the #rd of April. Not sure when or where we will try and meet, but Kathy ,Rob and Ed may drive down to Miami. I'll know more when Kathy gets back from her trip. Perhaps you can suggest a nice place to spend time getting to know each other. A nice restaurant where we can eat and drink without being rushed to make room for others. I'm sure looking forward to the group of us meetinf up and having a fun day. Watch these pages and I'll post any information I have here as soon as I know. Take care...I'm going to get my fix from your flickr page.

nal, you continue to surprise and astound me with the high quality and special beauty of your photos. I suppose I should expect it by now because you are established as a photographer of excellence. I just want you to know how much pleasure your photos continue give me. You have set a standard in photography, particularly of birds, that inspires me to strive for higher standards in my own photography. Thank you.

Hello Nal - I've just been browsing through some of your latest photos and they are brilliant. Are you a professional photographer because your photos appear to be. I didn't comment on any individual photo (except on one) or I would have been there all day so thought I would post a comment on your page instead. Keep up the great work. for letting me view them.

Hi Nal - I just checked out your Flickr site. I can't find the right words for your pictures! I have never seen a hummingbird like the one you have, and the owl is just great. All of your other pictures are good too. I get a lot of hummingbirds. I average about 20 lbs of sugar each summer feeding my hummers. Thanks for visiting my site and I hope you will come back often.

Afternoon Nal, and thanks for stopping in and visiting. I've been remiss to return the call as every time I come on your page I get trapped for long periods of time browsing your photos. I felt no need to leave comments on individual photos as you have already received praise from so many others. On this trip through (I need a long weekend to see everything), aside from the picture on your page, a few few that caught my attention were pasodoble, kiss of death, misty morning and I am watching you. But as everyone says, they are all beautiful. You should publish some books. Cheers!

Hi Nal, Well I'll be in your neck of the country tomorrow,(4/3/07) and will be there until the 10th. Hope to be able to get in touch with you and possibly others. Kathy has said its a bit much for her to come back down to Miami since she just got home Saturday from her trip. Perhaps you may have some ideas. Celia from Toronto will also be in town on Wed and is staying closer to her, so they will be able to get together. I don't know the area well and am not driving so things are iffy right now. If you get a chance please give me a call and we can at least chat. My cell number is 215-908-0730. I have also been in touch with Ed. He may have some ideas too. Take care. Peace.

Hi, Nal! I have been enjoying your pictures since I first found out about them here and make frequent visits to Flickr. Your pictures are AWESOME and very professional! They are a delight to see!

We miss your comments, but know you are so busy. I can't imagine having to add your commute to an already full day. Hope your Mom (and, of course, the rest of your family) is doing well and wedding planning is proceeding smoothly!

Hi Nal. Unfortunately I did not take the photo of the tiger. Wish I had. I love cats and I sponsor a tiger at the Melbourne Zoo.
