Just got back from a secret place, no one gets my choccy stash!!! The funny thing is.. there was this ball, just as I was about to pick it up it bounced off the wall and went out of the window, I watched it go, rolling onto a plane.. It had a label on it that said Albany?? H'mm better get searching...

So Billy this is what you have to do.. Pour a litle white wine (chilled) sip slowly, look at the stain, does it seem as though it has ruined the jeans, if it does continue.. (3 x glasses later).. How does the stain seem now? Smaller.. thats good. (4 x glasses later) The stain is merging with the white.. (open another bottle) to be continued.. (Billy at this point has gone to sleep and unbeknown to her the magical powers of the Australian Ms Cheapskates Washing Powder has begun to work!! Of course the moral of the story is Billy Don't eat MY, YES, MY, CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!

Hi André. Thought I'd pop in to see if you've changed you picture yey, as you seem to change them more then anyone else. Guess your fickle! Regarding your thought for today (02/05/07 here in Canada), if you do a chocolate fondu, add lots of white wine (for thinning), toss in some diced pecans and almonds, what do you get other than chocolate soup? So are nuts in soup still so bad?

No plans as to where in Spain we just go where we fancy really. If it is sunny and the camping is good, we stop awhile. If it is rainy or cold we move on. We read, do sudoku, walk, do just as we please.

andré, good advice about the small portions on the plate. I'd love to order you a wonderful Virtual Feast, but other than chocolate, I don't know if my virtual feast would be to your liking. Give me a hint or two and I'll see what I can do.

fantastic effort ignoring that chocolate, I am sure it will go off very soon or maybe the kids could use some extra energy and eat it for you. I havent had any either except for some low carb choc ice cream.

Hope you don't mind me popping in dressed in my pj's. They're soooooooo comfortable - and the grey jersey looks quite pretty too with the pink edging, if you ignore the paint stain on the sleeve (just how did that get there?).
Just wanted to say thanks for all the bunches of flowers. I've been scurrying round looking for vases... but of course they're all packed. So I've put them in the dog's water bucket for the moment. Not too elegant, but needs must! Anyway

Andre - You are a sweetheart and thank you for your words of support. It was just so disappointing to get on the scale expecting something good and I get . Rose suggested to stay on track as best I can and just not weigh for a month so I will try that, and if not the sound of shattering glass is me throwing the blasted scale out the window . Hello André, thank you for visiting me and leaving birthday wishes on my page. I've had a great day and I'm feeling rather tired now. It's been wonderful all the 'phone calls, e'mails, e'cards and the wishes on the site, plus seeing friends and my sister. Just missed seeing my kids and grandchildren as they all live away but I heard from them all.

Beeter post that 'Big Bang' photo with an appropriate comment André. I expect many lewd comments depending on how you describe it!

No André, you do not need stronger glasses, the pic on my page is not trick photography. My son took that pic while on an ocean kayaking trip. There is actually a sand bar under the water and the kangaroos hop across it. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time with camera in hand (he is a keen photographer, he also took the New Year fireworks pics on my flickr) I hope to put more Florida pics on flickr as soon as I get some spare time. Will let you know when they are there.
