uh oh, Andre, do you know how he got the tattoo on his bum that has a queen on a throne and says 'Lady Andre' on it?

Darn, and I missed the whole thing. I'll have to get here sooner next time. With André building up her endurance, she'll catch Jake easilly next time before he can hide in the closet.

Keith, maybe you could take him up to your pool room, get him some water to drink, I think the poor boy is just dehydrated. Andre, shall I send him back to cee cee when he is up to it since you have the 2 lifeguards?

Linder, don't you send Jake to California, who knows when I'll get him back. I didn't realize that it would be months before Andre returned him. And to put her logo on him...well, I never! x

okay I will take Jake myself. Keith, what is the closest airport to you and can I get directions to your house when we get there, or do I just look for the big redwood? Of course getting lost with Jake might be kind of fun

Hello André, Sorry the photo couldn't have been inside the chocolate factory but it wasn't open when we were there, only time for a quick photo.
I think our closest Cadbury factory is in Hobart, where I visited 10 yrs ago and had a few samples. Although at the time I was suffering from my first bout of asthma so couldn't really enjoy it.
We do have a couple of small, privately owned chocolate factories in Margaret River where Mo & Steve stayed.
Is the above photo of Hampton Court? I did visit there 5 yrs ago and wondered if that's it.

Hi André: I think, but I'm not sure, that I should (maybe) respond to your assertiveness TFTD you posted today (Jan. 17th here in Canada but Jan. 18th on the site). You might or might not want to be too assertive. As I think of this, I can't be sure what to say. Being too assertive is like putting too much salt in the stew, I think. Being less assertive is like not putting enough chocolate and white wine in the chocolate fondu. Gosh, I don't know which way to go. I like salt and I hate a thin chocolate fondu. So, I'm putting my foot down! You decide!

Fri 19 Jan:
Hello André, I was just reading your comment on the kid's puzzle page. Yes, they do grow up far too quickly. I have just had Kirilee staying with me for 12 days and it was lovely to spend some time with her. She is my oldest grandchild and is now going on 10, but of course, 10 going on 17 is more to the point. I have 6 grandchildren, the youngest being Johnathan who is nearly 3. They are a real delight but unfortunately, I don't see any of them very often as they have all moved away. My other two grandsons are a bit closer but that isn't very easy to get to see them either.

I hope you are staying snug and safe inside out of those horror storms.
the world weather has gone mad at the moment, I hope it sorts itself out soon.
we did get some rain yesterday and today, not enough to break the drought or put the fires out but more than we have had for months and the trees will be enjoying the moisture.
stay safe

André, Just a quick shout out to see how things are with you now. Have the winds died down? no more damage to your home I hope. The pictures shown here showed buses having problems staying on the road, and people trying to walk being tossed around like rag dolls. Its a pretty bad scene. Please stay safe.

Hi André. I was paging back and forth between your page and BobC's page, and accidently left a message to you on his page. This is what it said:

André, I stopped in to say hello and tagged onto your conversation with BobC. Have googled the Stardust site and this project looks rather interesting, so I will check it out as well. Good luck my friend!

Hi André, I haven't joined. After seeing Bob's comment that you need to spend an hour or two a day at it, I decided I just can't do that while I'm still working full days. I already spend enough time on the computer between work and the Sudoku site, so I'll pass this time. I hope you make some headway with it though!

Hi André. I like what you've done with your Flickr site. Where on earth did you find these shots with Andre (no accent except for the coffe) in them? Also noticed that in your fun set we aren't allowed to post comments. Cheers for now!

Hi Andre.....I see you stopped by and thank you for the kind words....lol....I think Kiarah is just gorgeous but I am soooo biased. I was lucky enough to see her both Saturday and Sunday this weekend as Nicole and Matt went to a wedding an hour north of us so they stopped in on their way up and on the way back.
I just love her to pieces!!!!!!!!!!

Hi André. You said some kind things on my site about my photos and asked me about the Antarctic flights. I have just discovered that 'ol stoopid' here replied to you on my own page! Here's what I said -
andré, thanks for your nice comments. The Antarctic flight was just wonderful. Qantas run six or so flights each summer. They leave from Sydney, four hours down to Antarctica, four hours over the continent and four hours back to Sydney. As far as I was concerned it was the experience of a lifetime. On the way down we were treated to talks by experts and then the staggering beauty of Antarctica unfolded beneath us. I have a few more photos which I will try to process and submit them soon.

Thank you so much for stopping by my page, as well as taking time to view my photos in Flickr. The photo of the white bird with the dark background was taken in the wild, in a road about an hour away from my home (perhaps a bit longer) It is an unpaved road going through the Big Cypress. I had to take it with at high speed because it was (''it'' is an egret) hunting and ready to pounce. The sun was shinning right on the bird, thus the effect. The only photoshop I used was for the frame which, in most cases, goes unnoticed. lol
Best regards,
nal

31/1/07 Hi Andre (sorry can't do the accent thingy). Just stopping by to leave a bit of the birthday cake and champagne that we had on my birthday. Thank you for your best wishes. I felt really special on my big day (turning 50 isn't so bad) and all the wishes from around the world were really special. Sorry the cake isn't chocolate but I hope caramel mud cake and just a sliver of white chocolate mud cake will satisfy. Thanks again for calling.

andré, of course it is safe to fly, in fact flying is safer than driving. Think about it.
Generally, pilots have a keen sense of humour - those little sayings that ap sent me are good examples. But don't misunderstand them, at the end of each flight the pilot writes down all those things that are wrong with the aircraft that need to be fixed. This tells the ground staff what work is required. After the work is completed it is checked by a licenced supervisor and signed off. So the first thing a pilot does before flight is check the servicing record for the aircraft to see that everything has been done and signed off.
Before each flight the aircraft is checked by an engineer, then one of the pilots walks slowly around the aircraft checking that there is nothing visually wrong with the aircraft. Then all the systems and controls are checked with the engines operating before take off. None of that happens in your average family car.

André, it seems like I remember you commenting about cutting back on the hocolate and dropping a pound or two, but don't find any recent comment about progress. I hope you're doing well, or better yet have reached your goal and are just in the maintaining mode.

Hypothetical question - how do I get hocolate stains out of white jeans? Suggestions will be greatly appreciated and acted upon if the need arises...no hurry for your response...dum de dum de dum de dum...but the next 24 hours maybe crucial...
