Hello Floss, I had to find out what bromiliad's were. I found some very beautiful one's, on the internet and also in stores. You sound a bit like me, a novice to these plants. I have had orchids about 2 years now. I have searched the internet for how to's on growing orchids. I followed the instructions on what to do after they bloom, so the will rebloom. I had my first rebloom about 6 months ago. After that had to have more orchids. In the last 3 months have had 6 more rebloom, so glad I did things right. The 2 exotic orchids on my Flickr were bought in February when were in Pennsylvania. I knew nothing about them, have since read all I could find abotu them so hoping they will rebloom.
I love plants inside and outside. Also on Flickr is my sunroom I have added more plants since picture was taken. Cacti are a favorite plant also.

Yes, Kiarah was born in December so is now 6 months old can you believe it!! About 3 months ago I became very ill and had lots of tests done but all showed me to be in good health. It turned out that it was stress. Mark did have ankle and foot surgery beginning of last year. I was finding it very difficult to live the life of a carer and it was an agonising decision to make to move on. He was very upset and it was all very distressing.
I do have a new/old man in my life. By that I mean that he is a person I used to go out with in my twenties and we never really stopped having feelings for each other. So here it is 23 years later and we have finally started a new life together and it's all just wonderful.

How are things with you? I haven't been to the site for a long time but with Rick gone for a few weeks with work I have come back to fill the boredom, I suppose. I see a lot of the regulars are missing.

Hi again Deb, so great to hear things are o.k. I flit in some days but not as often as before, I will be more regular again now though. I was a lurker for about 18 months before joining up, and have a very soft spot for the old regulars, especially you, Baz, Anne and Susan. You guys and especially your jokes were my salve and got me through a lot of dark months. there were days when I posted a thank you to you for your jokes and unbeknown to you they were the only things to smile about and meant a lot to me. Also I sensed caring, compassion and decency amongst strangers who would wish me well and help remind me I was not alone in the world. (that alone is priceless)

I have always thought you were a beautiful person and I am so glad you are happy, my concern was, like me, when things go bad you may have gone quiet. If that was the case I wanted you to know how lovely you are and how much richer my experience as a sudokuist has been with you as part of it. Getting gushy I suppose, but I guess you will get where I'm at.

Hello Floss ,how nice to find new friends that care and think of you and your abouts , it really helps reading all these encouraging messages , especially during these days , which are indeed very difficult . Every body is nice and caring , i thank you for your thoughts and pray that things will be better in my country , so you all may come and see how beautiful it is .

Hi Floss, I just wanted to let you know I will be headed your way again in November. I'm flying down with my Mum on the 22nd to stay the weekend with my sister. It's my Mum's birthday on the 23rd and my sister has hers on the 19th. So a few birthday celebrations to have.
I just thought if you wanted to we might be able to get together for a coffee. Anyway it is a long way away and I hope we can get together if you are up to it.
