Easy Sudoku for 31/October/2016

Unfortunately, squirrels devised even more clever ways to eat them before they fully ripened. Netting did not help - they just squished the tomatoes and sucked the juice through the net. I'd have needed to enclose my balcony with netting, to keep squirrels from getting onto the balcony, but the management would frown on such an installation.

Oh, dear, I did not pay attention to where we were. I missed announcing BOTP and TOTP.

I had azaleas for a while until they gave up trying to stay alive in garbage cans.

It's not easy to grow vegies or flowers in pots outside. A lot of care is required, more so than growing them in a garden.

But it's time to get my tomatoes in seein' as the Cup is tomorrow.

We have the same problem here with tomatoes as Wombat does in Canberra.

We're lucky to have them by end January. But then they keep going until about April.

Speaking of the Cup, anybody got any good tips?

Just for fun if anyone is interested let me know and I'll make up a sweep and list it before the Race.

Count me in too,please! I don't know any of the horses names although I am sure I will by this time tomorrow. Can a female jockey win it again, I wonder! Done Wombat's poozle so now it is bedtime for me,I woke up at 3.30am and was just starting to get sleepy about 30 minutes before my alarm was set to go off at 6.15:(

I have never had any luck growing tomatoes in pots. Or, anything in pots, for that matter. Luckily, I have a master gardener neighbor who keeps me supplied with home grown produce pretty much all summer. Bless him.
