Didn't have to do any hol activities this time, gosh darn it! D#2 at almost 18 pretty well looked after herself and D#3 wasn't feeling the best so used the time to sloth around the house.

HI LYNDA good to see you again, we have not chatted in a while.

GAIL, did you see the papa geno's website about plants? there is general information about the sages and mints and geraniums on there, he likes to educate as well as sell.

A combination of things MizT. She had a cold at the end of last term so I kept her home from school on the second last day cos she looked so washed out. And of course, on top of that, she had that all-night pooter lock-in so that knocked her around again. I think her body took quite some time to get over it because she was off her food for most of the hols, the smell would make her feel sick. And last, but by no means least, she's having a bout of cramps to go with this month's dreaded!!! So yeah, she'll be alright, a dose of multivitamins wont go astray.

Yes I did go to Papa Geno's MizT. Fascinating, the varieties. Have been doing quite a bit of botanical research this weekend! I think I might get some scented geraniums because they seem to do ok up here.

I do not iron clothes much. Try for all knits for me and wash and wear for AL. I do have a few linen things for nicer wear that need ironing.

i do keep an ironing board up in sewing room. My Mom taught me the importance of iron as you go when sewing .

OH NEAT, I hope you like the scented geraniums. I think they grow in the southern california, and that is much like your climate I think.

I guess I did my lifetime quota of ironing years ago. EVERYTHING had to be ironed and my Mom put me to ironing pillow cases and my dad's work shirts at age 6!

then my EX wore long sleeve oxford cloth shirts and i had about 6 or 7 of those a week to do, not fun. Daughters dresses to iron, and some of mine too, could not find knits then. THEN came the 3 piece polyester pants suit YEAH, and although hot, NO IRONING heheh
