Unfortunately, Suzy, there will be problems as she has left everything to me. So you see why I would like her to change her will now.

Brenda.... if Celia has left everything to you, you can always give something to each of her family members once the estate has gone through probate. Once it's yours, you can do with it what you will. Including being generous.

Theresa. The 'flu is horrible. It makes you feel like you're gonna die, and afraid that you aren't going to. Or at least like me it does.

I know that Heidi, but I can expect hassle from her son. He is her only child and there are two grandchildren who never visit her. I would much prefer her to change her will and save me any problems.

Hubby and I just played 2 on 2 basketball against the boys. Parents beat kids 15-8 and I scored the winning basket. Chalk one up for mom!!!

Heidi, I only scored two baskets. One when the score was 4-4 and we moved ahead, and then the final basket. Hubby can beat them 2 on 1. I only went out for fun.

MizT, you were mentioning about sweating so much. I get the same thing from one of my diabetes medications. Mostly at night, but not always. By morning my pillow and top are soaked. Maybe I can get it switched, the medication I mean. It's just horrible to be cold, but have the sweat pouring off my face.

Still not feeling well, so I think I'll tuck myself into bed. Hugs all around.

Hi everyone.
Love and hugs to all. Get well soon Theresa.

It's the same old thing going on in my neck of the woods except the boss and salesman have gone to China. The storeman and I are holding down the fort until the boss returns next week. Luckily I have the password for the bank account so we all still get paid.

Good afternoon everybody...there are a lot of people needing hugs here in abundance.. I almost feel guilty about having an enjoyable but very different birthday. Pete always used to spoil me rotten in the good old days. I am slowly adjusting to my new reality.. no special 'someone' there to spoil me..

My wonderful friends here in my computer have well and truly made up for it. Thank you all.

Was going to go and see a film last night but in the end I was cold & tired and stayed at home. I probably would have fallen asleep in the cinema!

hmm..wandered off on a tangent there..got sidetracked reading all the messages on FB..

Suzy I really feel for you going through all this. My eldest brother made a real hash of my mothers estate. Luckily for me I had been handling my mothers finances for a few years and I knew exactly what was there to be divied up. But in the end I didn't care.. I just wanted it done... neat and tidy and fair. It wasn't of course. There were a few outstanding debts that I don't think were taken into account and some siblings REALLY profited from mum's benevolence. It wasn't a large inheritance [never is if split 7 ways] and so that wasn't the issue.. it was the principle of the matter.
We then went through it all again with mother in laws estate and altho I wasn't a beneficiary it impacted on me through Pete. Now I am determined to sort out all my clutter and tie up lose ends so that there will no un-necessary rubbish for Lachie to deal with.

Greetings to all! The day (and night) have slipped away as I'm still trying to get caught up on emails and things that need doing around the house that were neglected when we were busier.

Bean, thinking of you and hoping the day improved as it went along! I also hope you had a wonderful birthday! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Broni, I hope the work is going well and the amount you want!

June, for you to say that you have a full and busy month says a LOT! I'm trying to remember when you aren't busy. I hope the dentist went well!

Gail, I hope all was well! I'm glad to hear that Bill is now home and his hemoglobin levels are improving! I hope that continues!

Heidi, what a relief to know that you made it through the weekend and now have been able to fill the prescription! Take it easy! Robert is so lucky to have you in his life! I hope once the repairs/replacements are made, he will have a reliable means of transportation!

MIzT, I hope you have been able to gather and complete all of the paperwork necessary for your application and insurance premium assistance. I enjoyed reading about your "widdle" explosion!

Suzanne, I hope your allergies improve! It's an early start to what promises to be a long season! I hope the "right" family soon finds your house!

Theresa, I hope there will soon be an improvement in the things affecting your life! We are here for you in any way we can help! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Tami, I hope your school days are going well! How is Dylan's thumb? It must be about time for it to be checked.

MizT, thinking of your granddaughter and that she wanted to have the nursery finished - and with TWO months to go. I have a couple of thoughts. I remember being concerned that the crib we ordered wouldn't arrive on time. The sales clerk remarked that a baby could be swaddled and placed in a drawer on the floor. While it didn't make me feel better, I can see now that she was right. Also, we were going for a circus theme for the nursery and I had some sketches for animals to be painted in a mural on the wall. Guess what? D is now 34 - and the mural never got painted. She never missed it, because she never knew about it and it didn't really matter.

Brenda, I wish I could send you a bit more sunshine. Our temperature almost reached 80* F today - and we had water aerobics in the outdoor pool.

Sending positive thoughts to all, including those I forgot to mention!

Thanks Julie, generally, all was well. There were red flags re diet, but as the nurse said, it was nothing I didn't already know. Basically, if I don't get off my *rse and do something about it, everything that goes in my gob will sit very comfortably on my expanding butt!
On the YAY side, my BP rocked :)))
I go back and see the doc next week for the results of the bloods eg cholesterol and blood sugars etc (Bill had diabetes so sadly it is a definite possibility, especially if I keep going the way I am), so wish me luck for that...

Speaking of Bill, I spoke to him this morning and he sounded quite bright I am pleased to say. His extended stay in hospital left him feeling flat and unrested. He said he is keeping very quiet, in fact yesterday he said he had no reason to get dressed so he didn't! He is going to spend the next few days at his lady friend's place, bless her, she has been staying at his the whole time even though she had appts back near her home (the other side of town, prob about 1/2 hour away). Because my brother had this infection, Val has really been Bill's only visitor this last week. I am so happy they have each other in their lives ♥

Forgot to mention, hubby and I will be going back home to visit in a couple of weeks, just for a couple of nights due to hubby needing to be back here for plug in. I have another high school reunion to go to, but really we both feel the need to see Bill, my brother Matthew and our friend John. It is such a worry being this far away :(

How rude of me!

Afternoon all...

Gail, I think it's great you are going to get back to visit, even for a short time. I hope it is a comforting visit and you leave feeling confident that they are in fact well and looking after themselves... You know, just because the doc didn't give you a lollipop doesn't mean you can't buy one for yourself.

Theresa, big hugs (cyber hugs are non-infectious so I can give you as many as I want)!

Tami, way to prove that women rule! Definitely want your boys to grow up with a healthy respect for women - especially when it comes to ball games!

Vicki, I hope you're getting to play a little since you are unsupervised. No work ethic getting in the way of your fun is there?

Bean, I know what you mean about deciding to get rid of the clutter! I have so much sewing and craft stuff, as well as books, notebooks etc, it would be a nightmare for my family...

Brenda, I hope you are able to convince her. A bit of guilt maybe? (If you really cared about me you wouldn't leave me to deal with the hassle your son will create.. or something a little more tactful.)

Dana slept in her stroller the first few nights she was home. She was in a hurry to join us and we hadn't bought a crib yet! I still remember the woman who abused me for taking her shopping so young the day we went out to choose it.

Rolanda, what's done is done. I meant to use it to vent and then write something else later, and in fact I had added to it a half a dozen times and hit the right button... maybe it was meant to be.

Morning all. Coffee is ready, help yourself.

Theresa, hope you are feeling better soon.

Suzy, my boys do respect woman. I am more of a tomboy and they can see what I do. I am not the most coordinated, but I try

Don't remember much else. I will have to reread later. Hope all is well.

A cool, wet Start to Thursday today. Started raining yesterday afternoon, and we have had showers on and off all night. high for today is forecast to be 79, about 12 degrees cooler than yesterday. A good day to curl up with a book and listen to the raindrops. I am sure kitty girl will join me under my blankey hehehe.

Julie, I have most of my paperwork in hand, thanks for thinking about me and the chore of getting this done. I need one other document, it was to be completed and put in mail on Monday but I have not yet received it. I will phone again if it does not come in today's mail. I will also notify Episcopal Place that I am waiting to receive it, let them know I am working on getting this information to them.

My sister and hubby and a few hundred of their friends are camping this weekend. this rain is not what they hoped for. It is the alabama caving club anual meeting, sister can stay dry, they have a caravan, but many are in tents, and I am sure the "roads" through the field where they camp will be mud. OH well, most cavers are made of sterner stuff. those going exploring caves will not care about rain on the surface, unless it floods their cave.

coffee is brewing, I am getting a later start today. I will return after I have my coffee and wake up somewhat. Hugs to each of you, with extras.
