Greetings and Salutations, Fellow Sudokuaholics! Hooray, I finally have made it here earlier. Starting on page 65:

Judy, what a shame that there was no parking and you weren't able to join the gathering! Hopefully the next time . . . Very nice to see your post! Don't stay away!

June, great news from your hospital visit! Just not fair that you had to fix dinner!

Theresa, sorry that difficulties continue with your oldest grandie! Good for your D and sonIL for considering professional help for her! You obviously needed your nap! I'm thinking I should have done the same thing!

Liz, I hope your healing is progressing! My understanding is that nerves can grow, but slowly. Crossing fingers that yours process is faster than most! So glad you are home!

MizT, woo hoo for Al and you You're both doing a great job of working toward normal! Coffee, grits, ice cream, iced tea! I'm so glad he continues to try! Hopefully swallowing will get easier and easier!

Suzy, the cold shower doesn't sound fun!

Vicki, so glad your sister liked the scarf! The new one you've started sounds pretty! I hope your day wasn't too hectic!

Sorry, I've been caught again not watching the numbers.

Read, commented, post lost in cyber space. I am waiting for niight meds to work, having a decaf to encourage them on. The hot coffee feels so good, both holding it and swallowing it.

Julie there are so many things I have tonight, even they are not fancy and first rate, there are many families in the state would take them tonight if offered. I have a house that is complete, heat that works, same for showers, washers and stove to prepare food and my own bead to sleep it. Such things we take for granted till we hear of disasters. We should appreciate them each and every day.

Good night friends, hope to be up and on puter in the AM. More hugs.

Just home from seeing Forever Archie - they were great! I actually preferred watching them to watching Pride. I think it is the music they pick - folk/indie. One of the girls has a boyfriend who is trying to record a cover - I adamantly said that was illegal and it's like speeding, if you can't afford to pay the fine, don't do the crime!!

No sign of Nomnom... :(

Suzy, I hope Nomnom turns up soon.
My sister puts an electronic collar on her cat Bronte to stop her leaving the yard. I think their grumpy neighbour complained about her being in his yard.

MizT, I hope you are feeling better soon.
Theresa, I hope there is some simple explanation/repair for your daughters hip. Maybe the physio will have some exercises to help strengthen the muscles to stop the hip moving.

Brenda, I was also guessing the wrong sister.

Suzy, good for your hubby for dealing with Alie for the way she treated you, and good for Alie for apologizing!

Brenda, always mixed feelings when a product necessary for swearing goes on the fritz. Not always fun to use the muucav, but sometimes satisfying to see the results. So sorry that one door on the new bedroom furniture was damaged. Hopefully the replacement comes as scheduled!

Theresa, I hope your D's physio and surgeon appointment went well and the surgeon can figure out the cause of the cracking and pain! So glad that dinner at McDonalds and dessert at The Dairy Barn went well! Condolences to your hubby and you on the death of his uncle.

Tami, what a shame that your nephew's wedding is in September after school starts! It would have been fun to attend that and do a side trip to Surreal Farm!

Suzy, I hope Alie and Forever Archie's gig went well! Keeping fingers and toes crossed that Nomnom is back at home and has satisfied his wanderlust!

Heidi, congrats on the budgie babies!

MizT, take care of yourself! That low-grade fever is telling you something!

Vicki, hopefully you got to work on time and things were quiet enough that you could work at least a little while on your scarf!

Hubby and I are currently organising our 2 weeks at the beach at Christmas. Usually we book 2 units so Mum has one for herself (necessary for my sanity) but it looks like we will only have one this year. I'll find out for sure tonight.

Hi Julie, still no time at work to do anything other than work - with a bit of sudoku thrown in for good measure.

MizT, thank you for reminding us to be thankful for what we have! I know we say that it's not the things that are important, but that's so much easier to say when you have a house with a roof over you and a bed to sleep in!

Suzy, it is not illegal to record a cover in the U.S. Our acupuncturists has checked into it and is including 2 covers on her first album. Of course, I don't know what the laws there are, but there are interesting ways of looking at "intellectual property." Sorry, I can't remember some of the specifics she (our acupuncturist) told us.

Vicki, I didn't know there were electronic collars for cats.

I'm fading fast. Maybe I can get to bed by midnight. Sending positive thoughts, , {{{{HUGS}}}} and prayers for each of you! Take care!

Suzy, I keep wondering if Nomnom accidentally got closed within a cabinet or drawer. Once one of our cats was inside a sewing machine cabinet when it was closed. She was our mute cat, and it was a challenge to find her. We were so worried that she might have slipped out when a visitor left the house. (Our cats are indoor only cats.) I hope be now Nomnom has returned!

I think the cat collar is actually designed for dogs but the principal is the same. Mark has run a small electronic wire/fence along the top of the fences and over the roof. If she gets too close it gives her a slight shock but she still tests it our regularly in case they have forgotten to turn it on.

Hello again, friends.
Theresa, much sympathy to your husband after losing his uncle. ♥
Suzy, sending more hugs to you. I know Nomnom was much loved. ♥
Well, you heard about my "trip to the restaurant" fiasco ... it occurred to me (too late) that the restaurant is only 5 minutes walk from the station - should have left the car at home and taken the easy way! Next time I will. :)

I doubt it Broni, it's a stop not far from the city so it would have been full of commuter's cars.

Broni - Heck no! I drove round and round and up and down, but they didn't have a space, not anywhere there! And I could see fun and merriment through the restaurant windows ... sob!

Suzy - oh no. So sorry about Nomnom. That's not the news I wanted to wake up to this morning. Hugs, hugs and more hugs. Being a cat lover, I know exactly how you are feeling.

BTW, morning all.

Oldest grandie is now officially 8 years old.

Theresa, happy birthday to your grandie!! I hope she has a great day with an absence of whatever is making her grumpy/upsetting her on other days!!

Our connection is now so bad that we are constantly getting 'webpage not found' errors! Apparently our provider (Optus) has been making changes to their system to 'improve' performance - but apparently only to the people who matter and at a cost to the rest of us! Cranky? Yes!

Just deleted about 8 lines of stuff about Nomnom. Wonder if I'm insane!!

Suzy, you are not insane. It is hard to adjust to the loss of a pet and every one copes in different ways.

Suzy, our furry friends are a part of our family, so it is normal to grieve for them. You are in my thoughts, sweetie.

Off to get the grumpies, I mean grandies, ready for school. Wish me luck .....

Suzy, I hope you're coping alright. When our old dog left us I found my Sudoku friends were a great comfort - they didn't seem to mind me rabbiting on about poor old Jack, and it really helped ... so please don't hesitate to do the same about Nomnom ... ♥

Suzy, Theresa's description of her grandies made me laugh too. There will be lots of little things to remind you of nomnom and those memories will all be good ones.
Theresa hope the eldest grandie has a lovely birthday. Also hope that the problem your D is having is nothing major.

DUH of the day

Hubby walked into the kitchen with his coffee cup, picked up the empty pot and looked at me. "You didn't make any coffee this morning?" I could not resist, I really triedto resist before I answered him, "Kind of obvious isn't it?"

Oh, no, Suzy. Poor Nomnom was such a character. Pets are not just "animals". they're family members. I wish I was there to give you a big hug and a shoulder to cry on.
