Haven't done the puzzle yet, just read through. I sort of have an order of which way I go around the place.

I'll be back in a mo. I have to poke the defrosting meat. Tonight's menu is Beef Stroganoff served with Pasta Alfredo. Probably some steamed veg to go with it. But if I don't get a wriggle on, we wont be eating it till 8pm...again!

Gail, it was interesting reading about your daughter's break up pranks at school. I left school 50 years ago and we (with the help of a very responsible parent) put a used car sale add in the local paper giving the schools phone number. Back then the headmaster answered the phone. He soon twigged and treated it as a joke. We had small signs up around the school ( the only one I can remember was the one outside the staff room "Bread is the staff of life but the staff at this school is one continual loaf") and changed into PJ's(which were very modest 50 years ago) for a morning PJ party.
All very innocent but a tradition going for a long time.

Also Gail congratulate Beth on getting her driving liscence. A mixed blessing as I remember. Nice not to have to drive them everywhere but then the worry when they are driving the car!

Thanks for the congrats June. I try not to think about them anymore, they are over 18 and I am no longer in control (pfft as if I ever was). What I cannot control, I don't worry about. Simple philosophy for a simple person!

Good morning all! Looks a little brighter today, but it is a little chillier, 48F. Need to get moving this morning. I agreed to participate in a sister study for breast cancer and the examiner is coming this morning to collect a blood sample and the questionaires.
Have a great day/night!

Good afternoon! Wow, nobody has been here since I stopped by this morning! I'm probably a little on the anemic side. I didn't know that they would take 6 tubes of blood. Even though I'm a universal donor blood type, I have never donated blood because of my tendency to be anemic. My mother is the same and so is D#1. Off to do some laundry. See ya later.

Another unseasonably warm day today. I let the fire go out last night and probably won't light it today. It's hard to believe we had snow last week and hubby was threatening to put on my snow tires.

The High’s and Low’s of my week.
When Grocery Shopping during the week, bumped into my neighbour next door, her parent is ill in hospital, and another family member was waiting for test results.. not a good day for her..
Last Sunday, a new baby in the family (girl), was told by neighbour ( on the other side) that she is expecting #2, and my mum told me my niece is expecting #3..
My mum has a dreadful chesty cold, and she coughed and spluttered her germs thru out my house on Tuesday afternoon, evening and Wednesday morning.. grrr
And last but least 2 birthday greetings for today..

WOOHOO Its a kinda day!
Lots of birthday wishes to Peter. Rolanda.
And to my one and only son, Jed. Happy 23rd love.
Thanks folks for your wishes. Will pass them on when I go down to his work to embarrass him with a cake and sparklers! Don't worry too much about it though, it used to be my workplace too, so everyone knows Mum'll be up to something! Ciao for now.
