Greetings from SmokeRise, a bedroom community about 40 miles north of Birmingham. I am visiting my sister, came up last night. I let a trail of breadcrumbs to sudokuland, so I could find my here today for a suduko fix!

Coffee in mycup, and I have some to share, but you must know, my sister and I do not make coffee the same at ALL! Of course I prefer mine and she prefers hers.

I shall return from my own location, minus the breadcrumbs, tonight. Must make myself presentable for our outing today, we are visiting a local quilt guild's quilt show. Then somewhere for lunch,and then home for me.

Report from daughter in CA, wind has changed, fires are being contained. The one nearest her was partially contained but escaped into a national forest and it raging again, but fire and smoke going away from her,and sway from homes at the moment.

That is really good to hear that your daughter is out of danger, MizT. I just hope and prayer that the fire can be contained completely as soon as possible!

I am home, had great fun, saw some lovely quilts and talked with some knowledgable quilters. Lots of fun these last 2 days, but I am tired.

I returned home to find Hubby had been very industrious. He had lots of improvements to show me. Now I must go and cook him a meal, shoot was going to ask to go out, but he has worked so hard, and he prefers a good meal at home, so guess I will be cooki ng.

MizT is this the time many quilts travel? There was a big show here where quilters gathered to add their quits in a traveling memory tribute to loved ones who suffer from Alzheimer's disease. They were on display but I didn't get a chance to go into Philly to see them. It got alot of press and seemed very well attended.
