Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope everyone is having as good a day as I am!
More on Roger Woodward - there are two of them! The one at our carols in the park is famous, is a recording artist, but is not a pianist and does not have an OBE. Still pretty incredible! Some experiences are wasted on the young!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS . . . as Christmas finds it's way across the USA.
We spent a nice christmas Eve day at my BIL's house. I could stand in his doorway and look at the lake, just acros the street. It was sunny for a bit and i actually walked along the road, getting peeks of the water betwen the shore facing houses across the way. anyone who knowsme, understands, I LOVE WATER, and a house with a water view is just to my liking!
Came home with a bit of a tummy problem, not fun, and by 8 pm I was tucked in bed after some mint tea, and with a heating pad to keep me company, I fell fast asleep for fout hurs! some Christmas Eve night! Woke in time to wish Hubby a Merry Christmas at midnight though and still up for a bit, this time I am watching HIM sleep.
Shhhh, I think I hear sleigh bells, must jump in bed and cover my head, cause Santa Caluse comes tonight!

Up at 7am, no sleeping in today! Presents all opened and now having hot cocoa and danish.
Seems warm today, although only 36F. We still have snow although we had a lot of rain over the last two days! A fresh coating would be nice!
Tomorrow, have to start shopping for my family Christmas at my brother's house. (actually, his girlfriend's parent's house) My mom wasn't too keen on going there since we don't know them and only know his girlfriend slightly. But the location makes it easier to get there for most of us, so New Jersey it is!
Well, sounds like they're gearing up to put on one of the couple of dozen movies they got.
Have a great Christmas day and Boxing Day(reminds me of my Dad)!

HO HO HO, Merry Christmas!
Santa came while I slept and spoiled me thoroughly this year! Hubby was up early , we had coffee and opened gifts at 8 am! Then he found pumpkin bread for breakfast, I did not even have to cook
now he has setteled down for his nap alrady! Oh My living room is trashed, empty boxes started under the coffee table and quickly over filled that space, and now trail down the hallway. ribbons for saving (yes, I save the wired ribbons, and reuse them again several Christmases fore they need tossing) are on the coffee table, intermixed with Al's opened gifts. Can't even straignten the mess, as he is sleeping in his recliner in the midst of it all, I should tke a photo, maybe later when it is time to wake him.
Well, maybe I should join him in a nap, it is rainy, damp, grey yucky kind of day, it is either nap or start the book hubby bought for me. it looked interesting.
Hope everyone is having a great day, full of lots of fun, good food and friendship, and at least one pressie you really wanted. I had many, and all of them good!

I guess everyone is too busy today to post! Everyone but me??
I just had a nice chat with my quilting buddy who got the tote bag I made and she was most happy with it! Said it was something she needed, I am so glad. AND she said she would get a photo and get to me to put on our quilting board, so I will add it here also once she sends it.Someone had asked to see it and I forget who.

Good morning all! Quiet on the site this morning! I wonder if people are having a hard time getting on? Didn't go shopping yesterday, but may go out today. I still have one more present to get for my niece and a present for my nephew (I have no idea what to get him) as part of the Christmas exchange for the nieces and nephews. I only have to buy for two so I want to find the perfect gifts. My nephew's the hardest because even though his mother is a single mom with little money, he has everything. All the stuff we can't even afford to get here. (playstation, that box thing and wii) I'm hoping his mom will give me an idea that's not too expensive.
Well, off to get some stuff done. Have a great day!

Goon Maen sudokuland!
coffee is ready, and it tastes yummy today. I have tea and chocolate for those people who do not know that coffee is good for you! Just read this again, coffee boosts metabolism, and helps burn calories, yeah.
A cloudy, dull 44 (7C) degrees today, headed for warmer 56 (14C) by afternoon. We missed the forecast rain last night, but more rain forecast tonight and on and off throughout the weekend.

STELLA, if he has playstation, X box and Wii, there are always things, accessories, they require, and of course new games, too. A gift card to a game store (Game Stop is one here) or an electrinics store or even wal mart would be welcome to buy said accessories. youngest daughter and her fiancee both play online games and have the X box and play station and they needed a really large CD case (250 sleeves) to keep all the CDs organized.
