It's a dreary overcast morning here, but the temperature has soared. It is 43*F! That's really warm for January!

Everyone seems to have disappeared. Maybe I'll check the site. If I dont get back, that means I lost it!

I made it back and Easy is up and running! Gath said it is a temporary fix for now. Has everyone given up? Nobody is here nor there!

HELLO EVERYONE, not sure this will work but I am trying. I can get to page 1 of SA3 but not much else at the moment. If I try another page, I get an "OOOPS, we cannot find the page you asked for" Hope page will not load. I got to my private messages long eo=nough to answer 2 of them, then that page will not let me get any others.

Maybe soon, everything will work again.

MizT, Did you get the email I sent you this morning?

For those who can get to this page but not to the "Easy" page, there are two possible workarounds. The first is to click on "Home" from this page. While that sometimes works for me, it doesn't at the moment. But it's worth remembering.

The second is to go in through the back door. Click on "Archive" on this page, and then click on today's date. That approach worked for me.

Ian, thanks for your suggestions, but even the BACK DOORS are slamming in my face. Everyone has been very good to try to help me, but nothing is working.

I have tried going through numerous links, every other Browser we have, ( mozilla, maxthon, IE, AOL, firefox) to get here, through other ISPs, other screen names, pop up blocker on and off, all to no avail. HUUMM, only thing I have not tried is other computers, maybe that is next! I suppose I shall just annoy the heck out of everyone with my TEST POSTS till we get a new host for this site.

OH a new one today, I once got a message in a foriegn language! one word looked a bit familiar, verbiden ( sp) . OK, so now I am forbidden in foriegn languages to get here?? AAAGGHHHHH

SA3'ers
Could someone please tell me how some of you were still getting in the back door here while the site was down? It was bad enough living without the puzzle but the worst bit was the lack of social chit chat!!

Bean, some of us had book marked different pages.
I had book marked the log in page and got onto that page. The log in wasn't working, but I clicked on Forums and got to this page.
I think some had book marked their personal pages and got to Forums that way. E-mails were going back and forth with this page's address.
MizT is collecting e-mail addys in case something like this happens again. If you want to be added to her list, send your address to her inbox on her page. The only way I knew I wasn't the only one having problems was by sending out a couple of e-mails to other members.

GOOD AFTERNOON! Especially the "good" part. After people telling me at various times this morning that they had found ways to get to the site, and my computer telling me I couldn't, I finally am here! Hooray! Hoorah! No more sleepless nights with Rayray's sheep running about. (At least, I hope this is a permanent fix.) Enjoy the rest of your day SA3 visitors!

How were you folks able to access SA3 without having it bookmarked? Eve sent me a private message 2 days ago (which I only just received today) telling me to come directly to SA3. How would I have done that without being able to access the website?

As of now, I can access everything on the site, but I'm curious about how you all got to SA3 during the "crash".

Jane: Bookmark just about any page--personal, forum, SA3--and often times, when you can't get to the easy page, that bookmarked page will come up, and you can click on the links at the top of the page you've bookmarked. It's pretty much trial and error.

Jane, I have the home page, SA3 page and my personal page bookmarked. I come to those ones the most. When the site was down, I just kept trying them until I could finally access the SA3 page and my own. I wasn't sure at first if it was my computer not letting me access the site but because I was able to go anywhere else on the internet I figured it was this site that was having the problem. That is why I kept trying to get back here. Persistence pays off.

JANE, I had a bookmark saved to SA3 that worked. We also sent that link out to people who had shared e-mail addresses and to some through private messsages. Some of those who choose to have private messages sent to their mail box got the links.

The most annoying thing right now is, the links that worked last time do not work the next time I try. With some I can read and move about, but not post, others I can post if I can get the page to refresh. It is hit or miss totally. Not fun.

Let's see what this one does.

MizT - Thanks. I've now bookmarked SA2. I never got Eve's private message until today and it never did show up in my e-mail. And because her message didn't include the link to SA2, I couldn't access it. There were many of us who didn't know about SA2. But we kept busy by e-mailing each other all weekend long! Hopefully, Gath will work all the kinks out soon.

If you haven't been to the Easy page in the last little while, you might want to check out page 4. Gath has left two messages there.

We spent the day yesterday having a great session of retail therapy then stayed in 'The Champagne Suite' (naturally) of a swish motel we have stayed at many times now. Last night, we dined at a very nice Chinese restaurant near the motel then today, we went for a pleasant drive to another town, had a looksee, ate lunch then drove home, which was still in one piece, I am happy to say!

Kathy - thanks for the advice. I now have my own page, the SA3 page and the chat room bookmarked. Lets hope I never have to use them. Don't want this to happen too often. I need to compile a couple of couple of email addresses - I've actually been trying to login on anybody's pc that I came across trying to ascertain which end the problem was on. I publicly apologise to my husband Pete for ever thinking that he might have had something to do with me not being able to get on and waste time on the site!!!!!

delete one 'couple' - as I said B4 - I need a grammar check!!

I'm back, but probably alone... my visitor was coming to talk about two horses, or a horse and a pony, which are going to take up residence in our back paddock for 2-3 weeks to clean it up.

I have to post just to see what time it is..isn't...oh, I don't know, I'm a very confused person!
