My hair is turning into a mixture of grey and white. Still mostly dark, though each year it's less.

Still haven't gotten around to reading since a little after Christmas. Maybe tomorrow.

Has Gath said when the next move is?

I don't know what my natural colour is at the mo. I have an amazing colourist who manages to blend the onset of the greys. When it was last 'natural', it was an unpleasant sort of mousy colour with these ever increasing tufts of 'silver'. In fact, in one part, if I flicked my hair back, it looked as though I had purposely put in a silver streak! At 44, I just don't want to face reality, not just yet!

The last we heard from Gath directly was yesterday when he said he was going to change to a supposedly very good server in the next day or so. Eve reprinted his posts on page 3 of 'todays' easy, I think.

In high school my hair was dark brown with red highlights and underneath it had brown, blonde and silver strands. Guess it couldn't decide what it wanted to be.

The only time anyone could see them was when I pulled them up into a barrette. Got good at twisting my hair so that no one really noticed.

Well Becky, I should really get my backside into gear and get some stuff done. We are expecting a heatwave over the next couple of days, the temps are going to soar again. This room that we are in, the pooter room, generates so much heat at the best of times that I've just realised that I am sweating while I sit here!

Was just thinking that I need to get to bed, also. We have tornado warnings for tonight, so have my fingers crossed.

I can see that over the next couple of days, not much is going to get achieved around here so I'd better push all the buttons on all the whitegoods!

Coffee and assorted drinks are now available once again. ahhhh, almost like back to normal!

Becky, how was the weather overnight for you? We had the tail end of the same system come through here last night, tornado watch, but I did not hear of any actual tornadoes. We did go to the dome for storm shelter, though. Hubby played a music video for us, Eagles in concert in Australia! good music, and I enjoyed.

We did get some much needed rain from the storm, but not enough to be the drought breaker we need.
More rain forcast for tonight and tomorrow, and we welcome it.

MizT, we had gusts over 50 mph with a couple of downpours. Since the wind was coming from the southeast, rain was hitting our window under the porch. We filled up a trash can with twigs and limbs that blew down overnight. The news had pictures on of trees that had been blown over.

OH BECKY, seems you did have a rough night last night! I am hoping for calmer weather tonight, so far, it seems to be. maybe some rain, but I like rain!

You know that musical note thingy that you used, how did you get it? I can get the single note alt 13 ♪, but I cant get the double one alt 14 because it changes my page!

You should have seen Amber's face when I told her you would take us to see the penguins. That was the biggest smile I've seen in a long time.

Whenever I try it, it flashes in the comment box for a sec then BAM! I go back a page!

It will be my absolute pleasure. I went when I was about Amber's age and it was amazing. They have done the place up heaps nowadays for the tourists. It's on every night, tell Amber I am excited too. I can't wait.

That seems an odd thing to make it do. Maybe your computer just doesn't like it. They can be weird that way.

I just tried to locate a site about the fairy penguin parade and it locked up my pooter. I will give it another try so if I'm gone a minute, you'll understand!

I starting a list of things I hope to do while we are there. On top of the list is meeting as many fellow sudokuists as possible. I also want to see kangaroos and koalas.

Tried it again but it locks up Firefox. What browswer do you use?

They also have a koala sanctuary on Phillip Island, so we may be able to kill two birds with one stone...not literally mind you!

Hubby tried it on his pooter using firefox and had no trouble!
