Mmm, what is that delicious aroma. Ooh, must be these cookies. I hope no-one's watching, I'll just have one...........ok, two!

I smelled the cookies and came to get one before I go to bed. Yummy, thanks Julie. I'm off to bed.

I have been hovering all evening whilst cooking dinner , serving it and picking up D#2 from work and still nuffin! Where are you all? And when will Rola be back? I wanta play!!!

Good morning all! Another cloudy and cool day, but it looks like the sun is trying to peek through. It did warm up yesterday afternoon when the sun came out. This weather is bothering my allergies and my eye is swollen this morning. I can't find my eye allergy drops. I hope I didn't leave it somewhere over the weekend. I'm using baby shampoo in the meantime to help get rid of whatever is bothering my eye.

I was just about to post a goodnight Stella. Went out to lunch today for my sister's birthday. That's out to lunch two days in a row. It's a hard life, but somebody's gotta do it! All this socialising is exhausting. I don't know how you can keep up with it, all the travelling you have to do at the mo. Hope your eye feels better soon. CYOTFS

Looks like everyone has retired early tonight. I had also gone to bed until Hubby decided to come to bed and put the TV on.

Hi June, we are just away from Friday until Monday in the caravan. It is a Bank Holiday over here this weekend, and on this one we get together with a group of friends (with their families)We go to one of their homes, near Billingshurst in West Sussex.
All of the men went to school together so have known each other for many years (too many for them to admit to) We are hoping for sunny weather so we can make use of the swimming pool.

Good afternoon all! Spent the day bringing D#1 to dr. to get her blood iron level rechecked (last time she was anemic). Then we went shopping again to get more supplies. Now I have a semi-migraine headache and I can't get rid of it. I have to go back out in 45 min to bring S#2 to a soccer meeting. I think I need a nap!

I think you need a chauffeur to cart those kids around! Hi, Stella!

Hi, Ruby, Stella, Rena, and June! I hope you are having or have/had a good day! Hi to Brenda, also, but she may have gone to bed already. I'm just popping in here for a few minutes after a full day (breakfast with some friends from high school, dr. appt. & some blood tests for thyroid function, visit to podiatrist for ingrown toenail - all VERY exciting). Soon I will probably need to start thinking about fixing something for dinner. Hopefully there are a few of the chocolate chip cookies left for dessert. Hopefully I'll pop back in later & find you here. (Also HI to Gail and Rola, if they find their way back.)

OH RUBY, sounds like you have the hot and hotter weather now! I hope it cools down for you soon, as long as you do not send the heat down to us. send it out to sea, please.

We cooled down to 98 today I think , as if 98* F was cool! With our cooler weather comes higher humidity, so the "feels like" temp is just the same. Can't win!

It has taken me most of the day, popping in and out, to catch up with the chat on the board! YIPPIE, SA3 sounds like the old Last to Post board for a while here hehehe. I never was here when a chat was going though, always just between, bad luck.

Guess I shall go check easy and the discussion and debate pages to see what is going on now. Missed that discussion also it seems.
