June, looks like you are correct, both before and after you there is a big blank space.

Coffee is on early, think I will have cup to warm up and then back to bed. I left the AC on last night, and temps outside dropped to low 60's, it is very cool in here! I can tell autum is approching when I can turn off the AC at night!

ROLA, I almost had a no computer day yesterday! I did the ride the big mower thing, then tok Al out for his birthday lunch, he postponed it from his real say. I took him to pick his pressie, good thing I did. i wold hve picked the wrong one. got him a small "dorn" fridge for his office, keep his iced tea and colas in there, also, the occasional beer! THEN we got to visit the building supply, fun! I found a chair and let him shop alone. got plumbing pipe and connectors. Boy, the pipeis cheap, but all those little elbows and connectors add up QUICKLY!

Here is an easy math puzzle. (They seem to repeat the same format throughout the calendar. Once you figured out what they are looking for, they become too easy.)

Following the logic used in the first two circles below, find the missing number in the third circle. (imagine they are circles, divided in half horizontally and the top half is divided in half vertically.)

2 / 4
_______
16

3 / 27
________
243

4 / 10

Maybe they're partying over at Keith's place. They must be in a chocolate coma by now.

Hi Stella, brain isn't in gear right now. We had a lulu of a storm last night. Seen worse, but it rained hard and long. With the ground being dry and hard, the water puddled everywhere.

Hi Brenda, some did, but not enough. Would rather it drizzle for a day or 2. How are you today?

Oh we haven't had very much rain here for a few weeks, which has been pleasant as most of the summer has been very wet. I doubt we have a water problem at the moment. I am a little sleepy, wine induced I think

I'd join you in a glass, but have to be up early tomorrow. Is Callie still chewing? My neighbor gave her puppy a baby's teething ring.

Hi Stella, it's not as hot as before. It's soupy outside and the dog won't go out. He's afraid he'll melt.

Hi Becky, Callie is still chewing but we are giving her bones and chew toys to stop her destroying anything of importance. She has now decided to dig the garden up, and to bury treats out there too.

It really cooled down here. Yesterday and Friday it was hot and soupy, but today it hasn't even reached 65F.

Brenda, our dog was a digger too. I got a book at the library and filled balloons with water. We buried them where he was digging. It only took a couple of times of the water spraying him for him to stop.

It would be nice to have 65F temperature. According to the forecast it was supposed to be that but didn't materialise.

Pleased to hear that worked for your dog. I will try that but I have a feeling she will love it. Whenever we have the hose on or even usin a watering can she loves to be slashed.

Brenda, ours loved water too. He had his own wading pool. I think it was the sudden spray and the popping sound he didn't like. At about 2 years he decided he didn't like getting wet.

Brenda, lying some chicken wire fensing flat on the ground where he has been digging would keep him from digging. Or under the mulch if you have mulched areas he is digging in. IF the burried water baloons do not work , they cheaper and easier.

Thanks Mizt I never thought of chicken wire, we did that under the soil in the rabbit run, but they still managed to dig themselves burrows

I think it is 160.
Logic???
2x4=8, 8x2=16
3x27=81, 81x3=243
4x10=40, 40x4=160

1) Take the word for a flower area and change one letter to find a word that means "to set firmly."

2) Take a word that means "to roam" and change one letter to find a fowl.
