Hi Ruby! Did you get the storms everyone else seemed to be getting? It is supposed to be nice tomorrow. Hubby is taking the day off from work so we can spend it together. Was originally thinking of going to the movies, but if it's not going to rain, may think of something else to do.

2/4 the second number is multiplied by the square of the first number
2 square 4 and 4 x 4 =16
3/27
3 square 9 and 9x 27=243
that way
4 square 16 and 10x 16=160

say how can you divide 14 cubes of sugar in three cups of coffee each cup having odd number of cubes? (its a groaner I warn!)
simple one in each cup and 12 in the third cup
ugh? but 12 isnt odd??
oh do you think so? but me thinks twelve is an odd number of cubes to put in a cup of coffee...

you have six children and have to make a meal, where all children get the same amount. All ingredients are easy to share except the potatoes. You have 7 potatoes. How do you share them equally between the children?

Make mashed potato, or potato chips.

each one take one..6 gone..slice the seventh in to seven pieces and serve hot!!

How are you Brenda? whenever I see you post I think of driving on the A414 when you were in Canada. Not quite Stevenage but close. The holiday seems far in the past now.

Hi June, I am well and agree that our holidays seem so far away now, but the memories are still fun.
I cannot believe we have had Callie for 6 weeks now so time is flying by.

yes I was in Boston this May..thats the vacation time for my daughter..well the purpose of the visit was to spend time with my son..he works in Boston,joined in Jan this year.

I'm not here and I'm not supposed to post today, but hubby is taking S#2 to school so.....

Lovely day here today. Took MIL out to lunch in a restuarant looking over the water. It was lovely. I think I heard we are in for some rather warm weather at the end of the week. rained last Friday so that watered the garden for me.

Watering day tomorrow for me. Have to get up at 6.30 to put the overhead drippers on the hanging plants. We can only water on designated days and only before 8am!

We had a lovely day here in Perth today. reached 23C.. but rain is heading our way again !!

here in Perth, we have designated days - 2 days a week, if you have a bore (which we do) 3 days a week
we can water between 6.00pm - 9.00am on our days

Night Rolanda!!! What a silly you are.

I thought Appy was still here to tackle it.

Wednesdays and Sundays are our watering days. Up till 10am and after 4pm. Hand held hose only. Always better when it has rained and I do not have to worry.

I can tell Autum is slowly approching, I hve the windows and doors open today for the first time in a couple MONTHS. will not last long, but enjoying it while I can, ahhh, fresh air! I also too advantage of the cool air to do some baking. Muffins and Peach crisp, and meat loaf, so that is breakfast and the majority of dinner finished by 7 am
