OK, you can read this one now. boy it has been a LONG time since a post on here.

I had a nap before lunch and then fell asleep in my chiar after. I still am not over that tummy bug, guess it got to me today and left me tired and sleepy. I have 2 more things to do on my list of STUFF for today. but I just might have a clean house when daughter arrives!! Less than a week now, I better hurry!

Just dropped in to do the puzzles and see you are still about.
Brenda there are only a couple of us who do any cooking and I seldom get as far as the table before everything has gone from my basket. I know the men would buy if we had enough cakes to sell. We will have a mixed day in October to will make extra then.

bit chilly still Rolanda, not long til your holiday now

I'm ducking straight out I'm afraid. Just having a quick supposed to be invisible catch-up. Have D#2 home sick today. She is terribly blocked up and feeling generally lousy. I figured a day off now might avoid several days off later. There's plenty of lurgies going around at the mo, including an influenza strain that has been fatal unfortunately.

I read on the net that the beautiful golden flower that was one of the pictures last week is a real stinker for folks with allergies.

yes wattles are notorious for hay-fever and allergies

Ruby, Hubby and I are going away in the Caravan
at the end of the month. Fri 28th Sept. - Going to Busselton about a 3 hour drive south along the coast.
Hubby is taking the Friday and Tuesday off over the long weekend. Then is coming back to Perth to work Wed - Fri, before coming back down on Fri Eve. meanwhile Iam staying in the van.
We go home on the Saturday

They are so beautiful. Oh, well. It makes my nose itch to think of it. (I'm having a little allergy bout myself now.)

Besides the ocean, what's Busselton got to brag about?

yes, will be carless for the 3 days.. but that is okay. plan to relax, read, do some crafty stuff.
Before he goes back (in the afternoon on the Tuesday) will go to the shops and make sure I have enough food etc.
