I had a good time at the Banquet. Got a lot of complements on my hat. I wore my replacement Raccoon hat.... the one I bought from Russia after Angel ate my other one. This one is better.
We left Gordon's place empty. That's the friend who passed away recently, and unexpectedly. He always sat at the same place month after month, year after year. So we put a table setting there in his memory, had a moment of silence and everyone got teary-eyed.

I just took a picture of the hat using the camera in my computer. The quality isn't the best, but you can see the hat.

Afternoon all!
I too have been feeling the love in here.
As far as I can tell Ebob's formal was wonderful. I saw her for 2 minutes last night in between the formal and the after party. She should be home soon. I think it must have been 'awesome' as she was dancing and flying in the 2 minutes she was home.

Suzy: LOVE Ebob's dress, she looks very pretty, her date is cute too!!
Heidi: I read what you said about your Jewish ancestors, DON'T be stubborn!!! PLEASE take care of yourself!! Your health is very precious!!
Hello to Tvaz & Brat, whoever you are!!!?!!!
Please keep my cousin Manny Carillo in your prayers. He's my mom's 1st cousin. He is in a care facility (alzheimer's & other health issues). My mom & dad have been visiting him on a regular basis and I get the feeling from today's conversation with my mom that he is not going to be around too much longer. Here's the ironic part, he's the same age as Bernie!!! Thanks everyone! TTFN. Time for bed soon.

Hello All!
Way too hot inside to be sitting at the 'pooter today, finished all my running around this morning and have spent most of my time beside or in the pool this afternoon, only problem was all the blisters got soggy and I didn't want them to bust yet.

Good Maen everyone!
Gail: Doc is coming over for dinner tonite...,Chicken enchiladas. I also invited my neighbor Clark over too. I am going to TRY to take photos this evening, I'll post them. Thanks for keeping Manny in your prayers. He is my great-aunt Mary's son...He's also the oldest living member on that side of the family...I haven't seen him since I was a teenager. I always remember him being so sharp mentally. Hearing he has Alzheimers makes me sad.
Heidi: Hope the epidural went well & you are feeling better soon.
Hello also to Broni, Suzy & anyone else I missed. Take Care everyone! TTFN

Just popping in for a bit - legs down, not up, so can't stay. Warm holiday greetings to all of you from COLD and snowy Illinois, USA! (Why can't we just share the temperatures and even them out some?)
Sending good SA vibes, thoughts, and prayers for Tami's Dad/Bobbi's hubby and for Pride girl. Also including Rol&a's Mum and June's "friend" and any others I've missed. Let's keep those good and positive thoughts going!
Also, I wouldn't mind my knees being included occasionally. They're being stubborn and not as flexible as docs want, which could lead to a "manipulation" in the hospital.

Heidi...so glad you are already feeling better after the epidural.Nice tribute to set a place for Gordon.
Tami..how is your Dad going??
Broni....you really did a good job on the fingers if they are still blistered.Swimming and lazing by the pool sounds lovely.
Julie...sending you positive vibes to get those knees working properly.Hope you don't have to go back to hospital again.
Hugs and kisses to those that need them.
Your good SA vibes have helped immensely for Judy.
She had a rarer type of cancer which the Dr here has never seen. Its Lymphoma cancer of the breast.
Prognosis better than was thought, but still needs chemo starting next week in Brizzy.

Good thoughts and wishes for all who need them.
Dad is doing better and should be home tomorrow. He is being stubborn and that does not help. I am going to tell him that if he doesn't listen to the doctor, all my (and mom's) sudoku friends/family are going to beat him up.

Heidi - hehehehe!
Nola - meant to tell you my daughter, her family and some of their friends took a road trip to Bundaberg last weekend. It was to fulfil her hubby's dream of visiting (you guessed it) the rum distillery. They even have pictures of him hugging the big bottle outside.
Note Vici - another one missed from your calendar - the big bottle of Bundy rum - take a look at it in Karin's FB pictures.

Good early evening (& allmost food flinging time here), Everyone!
Just noticed the comments from Heidi! Please take good care of yourself, watch your blood pressure, make hubby do the shopping! You are such a special person - we don't want anything bad to happen to you. (Something good, like winning the lottery, would be OK!) Was today (Wed.) your epidural? Hope your tractor and truck are back in working order as soon as you are!
Wow, a couple of comments from eaa! We have missed you terribly, dear, and hope you can keep popping in regularly! Take care of yourself!
Oh, Brenda, special thoughts & prayers to the family & friends of the girl who committed suicide! I hope you drove safely on your 9-hour round trip, hopefully on dry and traffic-free roads, at that. Suicide is a cry for help that comes too late. The thought is frightening - and the family and friends are left with so many questions and no answers. Sending positive thoughts to anyone anywhere currently contemplating that action!
Stella, what a delight to see you here! We love hearing about your family and the proud Mom moments! I haven't been to FB since probably the end of Oct. before my replacements. Right now, I just don't have the time, as I'm desperately trying to get caught up with email!
June, thanks for sharing the pictures - and leaving them there long enough for us to see them! They're wonderful! Looks like the performers might have enjoyed themselves, as well as the audience.
Vici, thinking of you and the move to the addition. I hope all goes well, with no little bumps or dings to walls or furniture as you move items! (Remember, you ASKED for the snow. We just got ours without asking.)
Heidi, hope you enjoyed the Cattlemen's Christmas Party! Did you sit with hubby - or the good-hearted soul who took you? Heidi, the raccoon hat is smashing! What a wonderful idea for the Cattlemen to remember Gordon!
Tami, positive thoughts & prayers are on their way to you, Bobbi and Bernie! I hope he'll be feeling better soon!
Suzy, we always enjoy your proud Mum moments and internet items you share! I don't know how you keep up with your girls and pride! Congrats to Ebob!
Broni, hope those blistered fingers are soon healed! Do you have special products for burns and scars available? Hubby bought Mederma for my knee scars today. They also have products for stretch marks - and maybe burns (once the skin is healed).
Nola, sending more positive thoughts and prayers for Judy! Hope her chemo treatments work well and quickly!
Suzanne, positive thoughts and prayers for Manny as well! Also, enjoy your dinner with Doc!
So nice to see June, Bean, Heidi, Stella, Suzanne, Nola, Suzy, Vici, Broni, CynB, Ditzy Dizzy, Tami, Gail, and any others I've missed!

Just Stacked the last of the game into the freezer for the devils but will need to take 1/2 a tonne out tomorrow to send it on its way to feed the hungry devils. The boxes packed today will go on Monday,[the last for the year]. Yippy.

Howdy all.
Almost lunchtime here but as my youngest has already finished school for the year, we have no schedules to keep...aah lovely.
I am home and carless today. Hubby has made one of his rare trips into work for the day (hope he remembers the way!) and my oldest daughter asked if she could borrow mine while hers is in the shop. Of course, it is taking longer than it was supposed to, but like I said, I have nowhere I need to be. If I am desperate to go anywhere, and it would have to be a dire emergency, I could always use the truck.
Have read all the pages, so I suppose there really is no excuse for it...I am going to have to do all those things I have been putting off for ages...yrdnual being one of them!
