Frosty Update...
Frosty has grown bigger than the palm of my hand. So yesterday, she was released into my goldfish pond. She went from a 55 gallon tank to a 1,500 gallon pond. She's having a blast. I've only caught an occasional glimpse of her as she basks on a rock. As soon as she sees me, she dives into the water and hides among the water lilies.

Suzy... The lunatics have escaped the asylum.

Good morning lovely people - several more pages read. It's a long weekend here in Qld - but still have heaps to do. Now what did I read?
Broni has a new grandie Georgie - congrats! Did I read that Brenda has an addition to her family too or am I imagining that? Congrats, if required Brenda!
Heidi has eggs hatching, has put Frosty in the pond, meanwhile she's hit Robert on the funny bone which she thought was funnier than he did (understandable). Doc has his op on Tuesday - all best wishes to Doc. BTW - my Dad had a pig's valve put in his heart.
Vicki has left the building for her week of R&R - so jealous.
Suzanne has snow in Utah in May - Tami is amused.
Suzy is busy as usual but had a nice mellow evening on Thursday.
June has been painting, and her 96yo MIL is in hospital (best wishes to her too), Ken should be back now and they should be on the way to Port. Hope she's still planning to meet up with Viv - who is being a wonderful DIL - more thoughts and best wishes there.
MizT, Nola and Gail (& others??) were there too but my memory is failing after that mammoth effort - sorry girls. Love you all! Ciao for now. Oh - I remember - hi vdV!!

MizT; snow didn't last long, just a dusting & enough to mess up traffic here (people here drive like IDIOTS, even in the rain!). It may have killed my pansies & bearded irises. Darrell planted strawberries, raspberries & tomatos last week too. Not sure how they survived. We didn't get below 35 degrees. Does anyone know if we should re-plant or just wait?

TTT: I've known you for 25+ years, tell Mitchell I am comiing & staying in HIS room...keep snickering my dear!!!!

Hello also to Suzy, Cyn B, Nola, Viv, vdv, and anyone else I missed from the past couple of pages. Hope all's well. I may be on FB, but I refuse to get on FarmVille, Petville, CafeWorld, etc. I don't know how we'll be able to afford my HS reunion this year when we are bringing my parents to Utah in June & paying for airfare & hotel...maybe if Darrell works his a&* off with overtime????????? I wouldn't ask him to do that, it's his choice if he wants to work OT or not. There have been times where he was too tired to do the OT and he's refused it, but that is VERY rare. Going to call Real Estate Agents this week to list the house. Any prayers would be appreciated.

So much for getting any sleep tonight. The dogs woke me up. There's a major line of thunder boomers approaching. I need to trank Dennis ASAP!

What's funny is that there's a LOT of thunder and lightning, but the radar shows the storm line to be a good 75 miles away.

I have the sneaking suspicion that I won't be able to mow the lawn today.

Heidi, if you are really upset about not being able to mow today, just come on down. we did not get rain, you can try out your newly repaired mower here, hehehe

good sleep last night, but woke drippy wet and hot, hubby turned off the AC before he went to bed. was 80 degrees inside with 100% humidity, yuck..

We're STILL having thunder boomers. I think that from now on I will have to trank more than one dog. Hollie and Cole are both getting too much out of control during storms. Hollie in particular was awful last night. Somehow (adrenaline most likely) she got her 12-13 year old body up on the bed, and spent what seemed like hours stepping on and sitting on my head, as well as drooling into my ear.
