The Vet will be here in 3 1/2 hours to check out the 2 rescue horses, and work on the Arab's leg. I will be offering him the pony mare then. His receptionist believes that he'll be delighted.

Rolanda, so glad to hear your mother is alert. I too hope they keep her in hospital for a day or too. It's bad enough they kick young women out quickly after that surgery let alone older women.

Nola, also glad to hear Josh's surgery went well. I bet he will be relieved to be able to cough, sneeze, laugh etc without pain let alone pick anything up!

We had our chrissie tree up on a coffee table for a few years after the girls were born. That along with a couple of empty lower limbs seemed to work.

I just found out that Ebob didn't follow up on an opportunity to apply for Outward Bound (she was invited to) because she didn't think we could afford the $400. Grrrr. I told her to get in today and see if it was too late!!

Interesting day. The Vet never showed up. His receptionist made a mistake and wrote it down that I was bringing the 2 horses in to the Vet Clinic. I HAD explained it to her that the Arab's leg was too sore to load her into the trailer again.
We rescheduled for Thursday morning.

I also have developed a bad toothache. Top molar. I feel like taking a set of pliers and pulling it myself.

Rol&a, hope the good news continues for your Mum when you get the Pathology results. Sometimes I think the sooner you can leave hospital the better because of the risk of infection. And that probably applies even more to older people.

Heidi, I'm with you. My mom is a fan of Tom Jones and of Englebert Humperdink. She went to a Tom Jones concert with one of her friends many years ago. She came home and told me that she had a great view with her binoculars and that he was real and not socks. It took me a minute to realize what she was talking about. I did not think my mom would be looking to see if a guy would stuff a rolled up sock somewhere. She may want to hurt me after telling this story, but I hope everyone gets a good laugh.

Don't know who I forgot to say hello to and my apologies to all. I have had a busy few days but things should be settling down. I took my final today and got a 100% on it. All my class work is finished. A few of us are looking into some other classes for the spring. It is not so bad when there are a few people working together. (we "help" each other with the work)

Hi all -- having a little of a cleaning day here, well its been two weeks and if I cant clean now, Dog hair yikes, have had to empty that sucky thing twice already, and still going haha, for a chihuahua he sure has a good crop of hair on him.....

I'm gonna switch to oxycodone in a little bit. The methadone isn't working well.

I would need to go to bed after taking that stuff, one of the drugs they had me on in hospital, dopey as on that one,
I do hope it works for you.

I always liked Englebert's Winter Wonderland, myself.

Lizzy... I may have to drive to Elizabethtown in an hour or 2 to hopefully get my lovebirds. It's 1/2 hour each way. I'm just waiting for the postal service to update their tracking info. I tend to ignore their business hours, and make the night employees open up for me to get live birds. I picked up my Grey Peacock Pheasants at 1:30 in the morning a few weeks ago.
And, yes, I have driven while under the influence of oxycodone before.
