When I got the Dyson, I demuccav after using the Hoover, it was like I didn't muccav at all!! I would LOVE some holiday avatars if anyone cares to help. Thanks in advance, TTFN, I'm about to snooze on the keyboard!!

I'm back safe and sound with the baby lovebirds. They're so cute and plump!
Checking the tracking became a bit surreal. The birds started out in Georgia and should have flown straight to Louisville. Instead, the postal site said they headed down to Florida. 15 minutes before I got the call that they were a half hour from me, the tracking info was updated saying they were misdirected to Lubbock Texas, and had just arrived there!!!! I have no idea what drugs they were taking, but it sure made them creative. Fortunately, the little critters were not misdirected.

The oxycodone works better than the methadone, and I spent the drive pain free, but it's already wearing off, and it'll be 2 1/2 hours before I can take another. PLUS, my Dentist won't be available tomorrow so I have to wait for the following day.

Mum's snoozing..
Quiches are in the oven ~ 1 large one ( for tonight) and 2 small ones for the freezer.
Going to catch 40 till the oven goes beep beep beep...
(and yes the Boy did help make - he sliced the spring onions; and beat the eggs, milk, cream, seasonings together)

Evening all!
Tami, I was so busy laughing about the socks I forgot to congratulate you on your 100% - very rude of me, but it's really your fault for making me laugh.

Rol&a, hope you can do things like we all tried to when we had newborns - sleep while your Mum is sleeping. Remember that you're no good to anyone if you collapse! Sending hugs to you, but not to your mum because they'd probably hurt - air kisses for her!!!

Well I am full of christmas spirit now. I just spent the evening in a small, trendy, town about a half an hour from here. They had a parade, santa, and the girls sang for a couple of hours. I love parades!!! And the girls sounded great! I tried to video a couple of songs with my camera but I'm scared to even watch them because they never sound as good as the real thing.

Santa came up and gave the girls a present from his sack (a lanyard) as his way of saying thank you. I did the good grown up thing and chased him down. "I'm sorry to be so rude, but one of the singers has been in hospital all day and I was wondering if you have an extra lanyard we could give her". I was so embarrassed! But she got a lanyard and a key chain! Well, she will have when her mother gives them to her later tonight.

Rolanda/Rol&a ... GREAT news about your mother.
Tami ... I, too, apologize. I was also distracted by the socks and Tom Jones ( ) to remember to congratulate you on that 100% as well. You've really set the bar high for the Beastie Boys. It's hard to follow that kind of class act.

Good Maen everyone! I'm up at the crack of DARK!!
Sorry about the 2nd L, Lizzy, I guess the key got stuck!! At least it gave Broni something to joke about!!
Heidi: Congrats on the birds!! What a trip they had tho!! I sometimes wonder about the infinite wisdom of delivery services...They seem to take the LONGEST route possible, don't they?
Rol&a: (still like that!!) Glad to hear Mum is recovering so well...Take the suggestion from whoever made it earlier, catch naps when you can.
Greetings also to Suzy, Broni, Gail, & Mamacita!
Going to get more coffee! Can someone invent a way to get a coffee I.V.??? That would be SO much easier on a morning like this! TTFN everyone!

Heidi - sorry to hear the tooth is no better...but happy about your plump birds!
Suzanne - had a fellow firefighter that that cut his and his son's hair with the vacuum. He got teased a lot, but it was a nice cut and saved him lots of $$$.

Went out and got some Christmas kitties... not a Christmas Platypus to be found!
Gath was sure quick with the approvals - BIG THANKS!
Off to walk in the woods this morning with my friend and her dogs...still missing our sweet Destiny, but Cheryl "channels" her from heaven and we get a good laugh at Destiny's spunky angel-dog chatter!
Wishing everyone a perfect day.
Those in the East...please send some snow my way!

Suzanne.... The birds did NOT have that crazy trip. The tracking went crazy. According to the USPS tracking site, they're still in Lubbock Texas. Obviously, that could only come from a demented brain.

Goodday all.Quite an entertaining read since my last visit.
Congratulations Tami,well done.
Heidi, sorry to hear about the tooth ache, they are dreadful. So now you have your little chubby Peach faces safely home.
Rolanda..great news that Mum is resting comfortably at home with you.
Lizzy..hope you are recovering nicely! When do you go back to work?

Judy is doing well, hardly any pain which is more than can be said for Josh who has trouble getting out of a chair or walking.Josh was only in hospital overnight and can look forward to 1 month off work.
We have had thunderstorms a few days ago bringing lots of rain making it sooo humid. From 6am until shift end,my hair was a frizzy dripping mess.It has been a long while since I have felt the heat(humidity) so bad.
I start HepB injections tomorrow, have almost all the study books and the nursing course start date of Jan 29th.Also must arrange Senior First aid again as my work only required yearly CPR which we do there.

Heidi, glad the birds arived OK and hope you get to the dentist today.
Like the Christmas kittys Vici. Sorry no snow here to send your way.
Nice to see so much of you Liz. Hope you are feeling better. love reading all the chatter.
Congrats on the 100% Tami. Hope you got your coffee Suzanne.
Shopping today and have almost finished my Christmas mail so will spend a fortune at the PO on stamps etc. Apart from the local cards there is about 20 items to go O/S. I do enjoy getting all the cards and letters from everyone at this time of the year though.

Nola... GREAT news about Judy. Best wishes for Josh . And with those HepB injections.

June... I won't be able to get in to see the Dentist until tomorrow at the earliest. Today was her day off, and I don't like to disturb someone's day off unless it's a life or death emergency. If I hadn't found that bottle of oxycodone it would have been.
