Good Afternoon my friends.
Had some little glichy thingy that I was not happy about that kept popping up with my virus software. After talking on-line to the tech for ages finally had to un-install and re-install my virus software, then run a full scan. I love computers grrrr! But I am back.

Julie, the music camp is a school thingy so there are no problems there - other than making up a week's work when she gets back!

Based on how quickly Nomnom gets out of the water again once he gets in, I think he'd rather stay out if he has a choice... hehe

MizT, I'm so sorry you were in so much pain. I hope you don't have any side effects from the pain killers on top of it. HUGS!!!! I like your logic with the banana pudding - sounds good to me.

I must say in the last two days I have not done anywhere near as much as I usually do.
Needed to have a bit of an easy couple of days I think. The headache was warning of that.

Nup, don't blame it on myself Zusy. There is an inbuilt program in every machine that makes it go phhtt just when you think you are safe! Beware they know how to pay back!

I have a neighbour I call Mr.Grumpy and he is always wanting me to do something with his computer.
Last Friday arvo I had to go over, he would send an email and it would go through 16 times!!!
I had no idea what to do.
So I said i spose you have shut it all down, checked all the leads etc. etc.
Ummmm ah no actually.
So we did this and I said pull out and put back in the leads to the modem.
Still no good, so I said do you have a spare cable?
Yes, so put that in and voila, no more problem.

Broni, what virus program are you running?

Okay I better start or else it will be time to do the crumbed chops and apple crumble for tea.
We have the outdoor wood stove going, again.

Zone Alarm, Viv, I have found it very good but my system will be slow for a few days while it re learns my computer as had to do a total re-install.

Broni - back to your question about Col way way up near the top of the page. We had to close down the mowing business, nearly went broke, unemployed for 6 months but he's been driving a semi-trailer (for a subbie at Stratco) since just after his Mum passed away in August. Likes the job, pay is 'acceptable' (I wouldn't say great)- but we've chased the wolf from the door.
I do worry - having spent most of my working life in and around the transport industry, I've known far too many drivers lose their lives to fatigue on the highway. At least he's not doing long-haul!

Yeah kinda knew about the mowing business, and I know what drivers DON'T get paid Poss is one too! I just seem to spend most of my working life around male dominated industries, lucky I have a thick skin.

Came home this afternoon to a whining dog at the back door of the garage. As I got to the back door, the doorbell was ringing non-stop - I was puzzled as I hadn't seen anyone about when I drove in. I finally got the back door unlocked, ran to the front door to find no-one there and the doorbell still ringing. It's a remote one and there must have been a problem with the batteries. Pulled it apart and settled the poor dog down. It could have started not long after I left and if anything stirs up Jewel it's the doorbell (ooh, people here to see me!!! ooh! I'm so excited) Poor thing, what a disappointment!

That made me laugh Cyn, everyone who comes to my place is only coming to Bella according to her.

Broni - so did I (working with men) - I loved it! I found they were easier to deal with than working with a lot of women as I had in the bank.
They'd do anything for me and pity help any newcomer whe ever swore or was rude in front of me.

Yeah but now I am working with two women in a Chandlery...go figure! 10L paint cans, oh sir let me carry that for you!

They're home. Good because I missed them, bad because it was nice having peace and quiet and NO MESS.

Broni - I'll bet there are some men who would let you carry the cans of paint, too!
