Good morning all. I hope everyone is having a great day/night. I have to go back to school today and no, I did not get my papers graded. I will be able to tomorrow as the kids are testing this week and tomorrow they do reading and I get to be a hall monitor. I will set up a desk and get my work done.

Theresa, hope your grandie is feeling better. I was also accident prone as a child.
Heidi, hope you can get everything done before your epidural.
Tricia, hope you are feeling better and the pain goes away soon.
Suzy, that seems like a good days pay. I think the subs here only make about $80 - $90 a day.

RIP Leslie Nielsen. He actually lived not too far from me. I don't know where exactly but I do know the hospital he was in.

Suzy, it will only get better from here, I promise. You have your foot in the door for getting work, you scored a day's pay that dealt with an unexpected event, Ally is rockin' dis town, and the ice has been broken with Ebob.
More importantly, you have had a wake-up call, and have responded proactively. Keep going girl.

Cyn, If I remember correctly Janey Cutler got through to the final of Britain's got talent, but she made a mess of her song, she was slow coming in on her music and struggled to catch up, never the less she kept on going and did a good job.
I'm a Celebrity.... sorry to say I cannot stand that program so don't watch it. It is on here on a Saturday evening.

Theresa hope you grandies head is ok this morning.
Having it glued will mean there will be no scar.
My son had his appendix removed when he was 7 and the wound was glued, you cannot see where it was now.

That's good to know, Brenda. I didn't know gluing didn't leave a scar. It is on the back of her head near the top, so it would be covered by hair normally.

When my daughter was a teenager she shaved off the lower half of her head and left the top and upper sides longer. Right now that grandie is too much of a princess to go punk, but I guess time will tell.

I just woke up to a delightful surprise!!! And a problem.
But first, the good stuff..... A long-lost friend has just joined Sudokuland!!! Peggy from KY. This is SUCH a thrill for me!!! Peggy has been involved with Search and Rescue for years. Her last 2 dogs both came from me. Connor, a brother of Cole's, is retired now. Picture of him on her page. Her previous dog, Ace, was pure genius. He actually testified in court and convicted a murderer, several years BEFORE the body was found!!!!
The dogs woke me up, early, this morning, barking uncontrollably. I looked outside to see what they were barking at, and saw one of George's steers running around in the pasture with my horses and bulls. So I went outside with my fence tester to figure out why. The entire fence around that pasture was dead. So I followed the fenceline, periodically testing it, until I found a spot that was still hot. That allowed me to find the break in the line and repair it. Some of IH's animals (that he left in an area they're not supposed to be in) broke a connection. I will have to wait for Robert to arrive to help sort the steer out of the pasture, and back into his own.

Heidi, I would not be surprised that you knew most of your neighbors on sight, but just how did you know your neighbor's steer on sight? They all look like cows to me
Feeling better this morning, that is good, we are rushing around to get ready to leave here at noon for his CAT sca. I slept late cause of the meds I took last night and that has me hurrying today. Yes, I am hurrying with my coffee as I type here hehehe.
Hugs with extras, I hope to get back this afternoon.

George has 2 steers, both holsteins, that he keeps in a pasture on the other side of my horse pasture. One hot fence dividing them. Whenever the power goes out on that fence, that one steer pushes his way between the wires and gets in with the horses and bulls. This is the 3rd or 4th time he's done it. His buddy is still back in his own pasture, bellowing for his friend to come back. They're easy to identify because they're the ONLY black & white spotted holsteins for at least 3 miles in any direction.

Good morning all. I'm just dropping in quickly before I start getting ready for work.
We must have had someone/thing around the house last night. I was just dropping off to sleep when the dog started barking. When we let him out he raced around to the side of the house. There wasn't anything there but his barking would have chased who/whatever away.
That is the first time he has ever barked like that at night so there was definitely a reason for it.
Good boy Reggie!

Nomnom will be getting lots and lots of gentle cuddles tomorrow.
That is better than him roaming the neighbourhood, chasing the girls and fighting with all and sundry.

Brenda, I watched Janey in the semi and finals and both times it felt like she couldn't hear the music and was out of time with it. The 14 year old I watched was very good, but I couldn't see who won..
