I sent Viv an email early last week - have had no response.
I think Vicki is going to her usual haunt - the Gold Coast.

I have the Melbourne family with me so not much time to be here. The boys are quite a handful. Also have Laura tonight as she wanted to have some time with her cousins. We 'babysat' the three of them and drove around looking at the Christmas lights. Laura in the middle and the boys at the sides. The boys poked and hit at each other most of the time. Their parents are nearly up the wall at times as neither of the boys will listen. I thought Ken was getting ready to kill the youngest one (aged 5) at dinner time!
All so much different than when we just have Laura! Very noice at the moment as they are all asleep! Sending Hugs to all you guys.

Does anybody have Viv's contact information? This is getting worrying. I'll try emailing her, too.

I am so far behind on Christmas stuff that I'm not going to try. I haven't bought any Christmas cards and won't. I don't have the energy or motivation to address them. I'm tired of this Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. There are so many things I want to do and can't.

The Dealership where I bought my tractor and most of my farm equipment, is having a Christmas Open House/ party starting in an hour. I think I'll go. I'm one of their favorite clients.

Hi all. Had a quiet morning and ran a few errands. Was out late last night. We went to the boxing match down in Miami. Boys love to go and I get free tickets. The earlier fights were good but the last one was a little boring. Not enough action. Both of my boys had a favorite ring girl. I guess I should be happy they are noticing girls. It is about an hour drive each way but was worth it. Glad to hear that everyone seems to be doing well. I hope we get a message from Viv soon. Talk to you all later.

Hi all, have had a busy day today. BIL and his family came down this morning to do present swap. They didn't stay very long as it started snowing. We now have about 3-4 inches of snow and it is extremely cold.
Last night I had to get the guy who fitted our bathrooms, a couple of years ago, to come out as we had water dripping through he downstairs bathroom ceiling into the light fitting. He is coming back tomorrow or Monday to make a repair.
Then this morning we got up to find that the heating had gone off again. Soon fixed, D#1 getting onto the garage roof with a kettle full of boiling water. It is a real pain having to do this but until the better weather comes we cannot look at making alterations to the pipe.

Morning all,
I had a very quiet day yesterday, worn out from the excitement all week I guess.

At least hubby and I got outside this arvo to get some gardening done. We have planted out the last of our tomato seedlings, and at last count we have in excess of 40 tomato plants of various types! The rain has almost passed over, so if it fines up a little we will go out again and turn over the last of the vegie beds. We have some snow pea seedlings to go in, and we might plant out some more carrot seeds...can never have too many carrots!

Hi everyone! :)
Hope everyone is well and happy and looking forward to the Holiday season. :)

Rob's gone off to do his Chrissy shopping. We had a HUGE storm a while ago, lots of hail, thunder and lightning, but it seems to have passed. Our tree is up and decorated and even has some presents under it. Yesterday my sister was here - we saw a movie (Voyage of the Dawn Treader) then went out for dinner. A very nice time, and I'm feeling more Christmassy now. :D

Gail, your veggies sound wonderful! We had peas, but they seem to be finished, and now we have lots of those little yellow squashes, which look very pretty - we've planted lots of veggies, but they always seem to ripen at once, then we can't eat them all ... still, this is definitely the best year we've had for veg, and I'm hoping we'll have something nice for Christmas dinner.

Maybe you'd better not go Suzy...

Judy, the more years we grow vegies, the more success we have, it's all a matter of experimentation. As we were planting the last of the tomato seedlings, I told hubby he'd better sharpen up his carpentry skills. After getting a blank look in return, I told him we will need a stall built for out the front of the house to sell our excess!

Evening all,
It poured rain on us so the whole shebang was moved to a local church, they managed to fit in a LOT of people, but the count was down on the usual 3000 or more. As per Murphy's law, as soon as they decided to move it it stopped raining.

Ally sounded wonderful, of course.

Suzy, Murphy strikes again. At least it was successful, even if the numbers were down.

Gail, why do I have a strong craving for salad at 6:35 AM?

Good Morning Friends. Had a wonderful day at my sister's yesterday. Al seemed to enjoy himself so much, he did not want to come home! Everyone else left and he and my BIL had a long talk. We were 9 pm leaving. It is good the day turned out so lovely, it did not start well. I woke to get my shower and bake my casserole before leaving, only to find the power was out and a leak had sprung in a water pipe. Whole house water had to be turned off, no shower. Power off so long, no baking. I loaded up my ditty bag and unbaked casserole, showered at my sister's while my casserole baked.

Heidi, where did you put your tree? I am imagining it in the sun room. Did you enjoy the open house at the tractor dealership?

Al has been wanting a BLT, glad he did not read about all the tomatoes you have growing. Broni, not so sure about the BBQ sauce and the egg, but I sometimes add cheese.

Good morning Theresa How is the gift wrapping going? I always loved gift wrapping, but my stupid thumb is keeping me from doing anything fancy this year. Hope you get most of yours wrapped today.

SUZY, sorry it rained on your parade, um, Caroling in the park that is. I am glad they had a P;an B and so many got to see toh production. turnout was better than your feared dozen spectators.

Gail, too funny about the stall to sell vegetables, I like it. Hope you have freezer room for some of your good vegetables.

JUDY, I am glad you are more in the Christmas sprite now. It sounds like you and your sister had a great time.

TAMI, stop by for me on your way up to help Heidi decorate tree! We can have a party!

Rolanda, hope your tree is up and decorated. Where are you going on your post Christmas Holiday? How long will you be gone? Wishing you good weather and a great trip wherever.

BRENDA, you sure are having trouble with your heat. It is good you have daughter to climb out and thaw the offending pipe. I am wondering what can be done to keep it from freezing. Keep us posted on the leak problem too. You and HEIDI both with leaks now.

CYNB, someone has to get the TOPP, might as well be you.

OH, power did come back on fore we left yesterday. My BIL offered to come down today (hour and half drive each way) to repair pipe, but Al said he can get it done. We will see. He is still sleeping soundly. I could tell he was getting tired yesterday, did not get his usual nap.

Think I will go back to bed a while. Hips hurting woke me, I rubbed them with Capsasin cream, and they are better. I might get another hour or so.

Hugs to all and catch you later I hope.

Tricia, I was supposed to drive up to Atlanta this week and spend some time with a friend. I was actually thinking of driving over your way and meeting you for lunch. Unfortunately I am not going to Atlanta. But if I ever up in that area, I will be stopping by for a visit.

I have been looking at the Humane Society website. We are looking to adopt another dog. Not sure what we want. Something around 20-30 pounds. Not too big, not too small.
