In a few minutes, we're going out to dinner at a new Indian restaurant a half hour from here. I'm hoping it's a good one. I love good Indian food. I need to start getting cleaned up now.

Hi all. Just stopping in for a minute. I still have a few papers to grade and comments to add. When I am home and in a good mood, my students seem to get better grades

I'm relatively clean, and nicely dressed. It isn't fancy, but it isn't a blue jean type place.

Suzy, I would tell the grandie what you told Alie, but I don't think she'd understand just yet. Wonder why I seem to have headaches almost every day ... hmmm.

After I brought them home from the school bus, the oldest pointed at the door and then at me and said "out". I pointed at her and pointed at the living room and said "out". She started to cry, I didn't. I know that was a bit mean of me, but I had just about had it with her.

Have a good time, Heidi! I too like Indian food, but it doesn't always like me.

eaa, Gekko is hello with your fingers on the wrong keys.

Theresa, I probably would have had to be restrained. I hope her parents have a word to her about that one!

Gail, she started off with surgeon, downgraded to nurse paramedic, downgraded to EN, now at AIN with plans to take it further later on.

Suzy, sounds like a good plan for Ebob. Fingers crossed.

I am looking after the grandies for a half hour in the morning while their parents get a few groceries. And that's it, no more for the weekend. I promise.

It's not even a quarter to 9:00 and I think I'm headed off to bed shortly. Our area is under a frost bite warning until at least Monday, so I am not planning on being outside much for the next few days. Brrrr.

I am back with a very happy tummy. I had Mango lassi, garlic naan, lamb chop kebab, and rice pudding with cardamoms. They brought the kebab to the table sizzling and spitting. It was delicious! We're going back for my birthday. I knew I was in for a treat when we got out of the truck and the aroma had my mouth watering even before we stepped inside.

Theresa... If you like Indian food, but it doesn't always like you, try it with a mango drink (in my case today, it was mango lassi- a mango juice and yogurt drink). The mango cuts the spicy part, letting you enjoy the flavor but without the heartburn.

Broni, what are togs? I have heard swimwear called cozzies, and I forgot what else now, Al is in the chemo brain section now. I try not to ask him any more questions than I have to. He looks so confused.

Majoy hurdle with Gov was at alst cleared. I no longer have to pay for my SS insurance. That helps the monehly budget, big time! PLUS, it is retro till August, so 6 months payment. Coming at a good time.

Togs isn't an Aussie term, MizT. It's a casual term for clothes.

MizT and Heidi, budgie smugglers are speedo swimmers for men, and they are so tight they look like there is a small budgie being hidden there. hehe! This will probably get me kicked off again. So latest count for tomorrow is 14 eek!

In South Aus we called them bathers. When my sis moved to Sydney many years ago, she talked about cozzies and togs, I had no idea what she was going on about!

Just about to throw a load into the sloshy thingy and then pack the car. Hubby is going on treatment VERY early tomorrow am and we hope to be on the road by 12ish, getting us to the motel about 10pm tomorrow night.

Suzy, what is En and AIN? I assume they are something in nursing field? And This is what Ebob is studying? Rare there not be a shortage of nurses.

Broni, roaring with laughter here. the word "package" would have been helpful explaining. Golly gee, such tiny fraction of men on the beach have a bod to wear speedo. But when one can, and does, WOW!

Gail, enjoy your trip, wherever ya going. Hope you can check in while gone. Safe travels.

AL is at the worse part of his chemo week. Lots of sleep, very foggy brained, they call it chemo brain. He hates this part, feels out of control. It will be better.

I thought all men are under the impression that their bodies are irresistible to women. No matter what they actually look like.
