Yes Suzy, I did have a bit of a relaxing day. Got very little done, but I'm feeling calmer. Also had a 2 and a half hour nap, and this after sleeping almost 9 hours last night! Guess I needed it.
Heidi, what on earth could IH have used your pizza plate for? Men!!! Good luck with the weather, young lady.
eaa, a smile and a one-fingered salute works for me.
Victoria, how nice that you can get away next weekend. Hope you have a nice relaxing time, especially since it's your birthday then.
Hubby will be late again, so I am in the process of flinging food. Some kids just walked by while I was bringing some garbage out, and one of the kid's name was Freedom. I thought what a lovely name, full of hope and promise!

Suzy, when the clothes get dirty, just turn them inside out so the dirt doesn't show.

Theresa, I hope you sleep well tonight too! You won't know yourself if you end up all relaxed and rested - you might even think you're sick..

I am sick ... people keep telling me so.
Hubby is home and happily eating as we speak. He wants to watch the Pink Panther that's on later ... maybe I can get some knitting done. Hope I don't drop any stitches when I'm laughing.

Is it the original?
Or one of the sequels? I hope it's at least with Peter Sellers.

Evening all. Just stopping in for a minute. Have to get grades entered. I am really excited about the new cousins. I would love to come to Australia but I can't afford it right now. I am hoping she will come here someday.
Good vibes and hugs going out to all who need them. I will be back tomorrow.

Heidi, it is the one with Peter Sellers (1964). I love that guy. We get a channel called Turner Classic Movies ... hubby watches that channel a lot. They even show silent films.

Good maEn everyone!!! Sorry, I'm posting without reading!! I missed 5 pages, not sure if I can catch up.
Been watching Oprah show from Australia this week. I want that to be on my bucket list (a trip there)--what a beautiful country!!
Healing vibes to those who need them and prayers for all suffering from the floods.
I had more to say, sinus infection going away...had no voice yesterday. Was supposed to go to lunch with our agent Jennifer, called her to postpone.
That's all for now, TTFN.

Good morning and Gekko all!
Suzanne - we've been getting the Oprah shows here too and my hubby, of all people, has sat glued to them - but it sure makes me want to see more of my own country - like Uluru - been to most of the other places but not seen them from Oprah's front row viewpoint - ie top of the Harbour Bridge.
However I did once fly from Cairns to Brisbane over the Great Barrier Reef on a glorious sunny spring day - it was spectacular.

Heidi - now that MizT has come over to the dark side, will you reconsider? I probably know the answer to that but no harm in asking.

Gekko! That didn't start out that way, but I did a fat-fingered typing, so after I realized it, I just decided to stay with it. My apologies - been EXTREMELY busy all day and night. Past midnight and the alarm is set for 6:15, so off I go.
All-day workshops tomorrow and Saturday, with over an hour drive each way. Sunday 5 hours (total) of driving to have lunch with my aunt and whatever family can come. May be able to do some catching up Sunday night.
Good day/night to all! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}, prayers, positive thoughts and more to all of you!

I feel like throttling my darling husband! I went to bed at midnight, read a little before he came to bed then went to sleep. I heard the radio go on and thought that it was time to get up (radio is the alarm clock), but it went off fairly quickly. I thought we had had a power cut or something. I looked at my watch and it was only 3 o'clock. Richard had put the radio on in the hope that there was some cricket on. I didn't get back to sleep for ages.

Brenda, I understand. At least my hubby has the courtesy to go downstairs if he can't sleep.
Sending good thoughts and prayers to all who need. My cousin in Texas has boxes of letters and documents from her father and our uncle. She has been going through them in the hopes of more information. She found last night a family tree her dad drew. It also confirms the connection to Australia.

Tami, I understand how excited you must be. Several years ago I tracked down some very distant family connections in Nova Scotia. We were able to go and met them not long after that and it was just in time as several older members have since passed on.

Morning all ... thanks for the coffee Tami, it hit the spot.
My D went to the doctor yesterday and she was given a list of vitamins she needs to take before the surgery and have blood taken for a self-transfusion. She will have blood taken twice before Feb. 10. So things are moving ....
Sunday sounds like fun Broni, wish I could be there.
I need to get another coffee and then off to get the grandies ready. Hope to be back later, dudettes!

Great work Broni, have a wonderful day. Love to all, even the newbies who have no idea who I am!
Thanks for the wishes for the trip. Don't think I will get here much before we go, and probably not at all while I am away. What with hubby having treatment before leaving and immediately when we arrive home, and organising things, I will have very little time left I should think.
Take care and {hugs} to you all xoxo

Bugger - lost another long post, lets see if I can reconstruct it..
Theresa, great news!
Broni and Gail, have a great time! Give everyone a hug from me...
Heidi, are you snowed in?
Ebob did 3 days prac in a nursing home this week and loved every minute of it. She came home grinning from ear to ear. She changed an infected stoma (bowel) supervised by a specialist stoma nurse, called bingo, and bathed several people unsupervised - even Sister (a nun) who is apparently pedantic about the way she is washed and will ask for things to be redone if she isn't happy.
Saved it this time!
