Never judge others because of what you have heard about them...meet and greet them with a smile...then decide for yourself..

Love them all, eaa.

Supper is cooking as we speak. I am soaking a few dishes that have sticky stuff on them. I just went into the kitchen and one of my cats was drinking the dishwater!!! She must have a potty mouth.

eaa, I really needed those comments today. They helped, even if just a little.
Hubby was home today and he made lasagna. He makes really good lasagna and has not made it for years. I just have to make some garlic bread and dinner is done.

Hi everyone. :)
Trying to catch up on the reading - hugs to all who need them. ♥

Tami, I'm so sorry something bad spoiled your party - sending extra [[[Hugs]]]] to you.

It's turned a bit chilly here - it's supposed to be summer! However my garden is doing very well and we have bowls full of tiny pear-shaped tomatoes that taste delicious! We have cooked them, but mostly we just cut them in half and throw them into salad, or toss them on top of pasta. Yum! We still have MANY button squash (and some of them are huge!) Really don't know what to do with them all, as it's just the 2 of us and they aren't the tastiest veg. Ah well, out with the cookbooks ... (If anyone who lives nearby would like some, just give us a call ... plenty to share!)

Judy, the vegies here are going bunta! Ours are always a little later ripening, probably due to our height above sea level or something, but we are going to have tomatoes up the yin-yang soon, and the cucumbers are ripening faster than we can eat them. We are having the mob over for lunch on Sunday, so we thought we would try a stuffed zucchini recipe as a side dish for a roast, and finally pull up our parsnip[s and see if they are edible too. Could your squash be stuffed? (Could you be stuffed!!!)

Gail, yes they can be stuffed! We've done it, and they were quite tasty. We did two (one each) but really, one was plenty. :)
(We had the other one as an easy dinner another night.)

I too was wondering what dragons would be doing at a high school. I was thinking like Barney the Dragon, a cartoon character, and I thought high school kids are a bit old for that .....

Okay, I just googled and it's NRL, and it looks like they won the premiership last year - which I missed. Since I have unofficially been following them for over 40 years I should have caught that one!

We have always joked about Americans not knowing anything about the rest of the world - but if you spend some time with the syllabi at NSW schools you will see that we are emulating them and will very soon have a new generation who makes the same mistakes about the rest of the world..
