You have all been having a very busy time today. I have been out most of today so just catching up while also trying to get something ready to eat.

Just back from taking Mr Invincible (hubby) to the docs (1 1/2 hours later). They couldn't find anything in his eye but he's got a patch and has to have eye-drops every 2 hours until tomorrow morning at least - and then maybe go back again if no better. I hope he'll wear goggles next time he's cutting steel!

Wow, took me forever to catch up on the posts....

Did they make his eye orange Cyn? That's how they checked d1s eye.. apparently it shows up scratches or something.

Hi Suzy, I am just watching who is about. Have finished dinner. Everyone seems to have had a busy day here.

I took my kids to the library (d1 is in heaven - she reads books she likes in one night) and to the newly re-opened Spotlight store. Then I lost a lens out of my glasses... currently wondering how I am going to do my work tomorrow...

Gail I cannot search for Hannah's page for some reason so wish her a from me

Hi Suzy, can't you take your glasses into the optician (not sure what you call them in Oz) and get them to refit the lens?
At the moment I am using my spare pair as I have lost (somewhere in the house) my preferred pair of glasses. We had a big tidy up of the office and since then I haven't seen them.

Has anyone else tried to use the members search on here?

Brenda you have to put in a name OR place. If you put both it does not work.

Suzy I have some of those glasses from the 'junk store' that I carry in my bag when out shopping. Good in an emergancy.
