Rolanda, the mobile sock pattern is not really a pattern... I do about 8 rows of rib, then stocking stick until it is just a bit longer than the phone.... I have one sitting beside me to measure. About 30 stitches for the rib, increase 4 for the stocking stitch - though sometimes it comes out a bit big or little depending on the yarn.

Off to take d2 to the doctor.... might be back later.
