Good Morning, SA4! Wow, it's actually daytime with the sun streaming in as I type this. I rarely get here before midnight lately, then only for a few minutes. I hope you all have a great day/night, wherever you are! Congrats to our TOPP leaders! (There's no chance of my catching up, as I usually get here near the top of a page with no one else here to chat. Plus, I see a 2-week span coming up without computer access.

Oh Julie how will you manage without a computer for weeks... hope you don't get the shakes as a withdrawal symptom.

I'm like you Cyn, I cannot keep up in the chatroom. I start to answer someone and find that the question or comment I an refering to has disappeared.

Brenda, having a fast internet connection is good for Chat Room, and being a fast typist helps. I learned to type faster in chats, many years ago. along the way, I became known as the typo queen, too, but I kept the speed and improved the acuracy, somewhat.

CynB - you are right about grandparents! I had 5 until I was 22ish (divorce/remarriage), and 4 until I was in my 30's. None left now..

My daughter's had 2, then at 7 and 4 years old were left with 1 - my mother.

Recently d2 spent some time with a friend's grandfather and had the most amazing time! She loved every minute of it and couldn't stop talking about it.

d1 has 'palpable lymph nodes', probably related to an infection, something viral or bacterial. She just has to put up with the pain for a week or two (with the help of acetaminophen), then it could take up to 3 months for the lumps to go away completely.

The good news is that if she had no pain it would be more worrying! Then we would be looking at lots of tests to eliminate some real nasties..

I like the chatroom because I have a slow connection. Refreshing SA4 takes ages! I can type relatively quickly so that helps. Also helps that I don't worry about the thread disappearing, if I've already done the typing, I hit enter anyway...

Rolanda - almost no chance of things like chicken pox in this house - both ds have been vaccinated, d2 at birth, d1 in year 7.

So, should I try for 19 more posts? You'll TOPP while I'm at work today (last day! - not sure if that's a good or bad thing).
