SUZY, tonight/todday would be a good time to chat! A grief shared is so much easier!

I do not know if Lynda had her computer set to send the messages to e-mail, but if members want to leave a message on her page, I think it could be arranged to see they are sent on to Peter's mailbox. That is a lovely idea!

CynB changed her avatar to a flower, when posting about Lynda. I have changed mine to a flower also, in memory of Lynda. I think I shall leave this for a couple days.

I'll leave mine for a while too - suddenly the old chicken doesn't seem so funny!

I feel profoundly affected by this. I had never really given any thought to the fact that one of us would pass away (even though it was obvious). It's an indication of the power of this site that we do all feel so sad about the passing of one of our own, even though we may not have met her.

We have lost one of our own.
I am speechless.

Very sad news about Lynda, I had only been wondering in the last few days where she was. I too have left a message on her page and hope her family manage to see all those messages.
Thank you Rolanda for relaying the news, it isn't a pleasant task.

I feel like you CynB. I am shocked and saddened beyond expectations.
We all 'know ' how important our friends are on this site even tho most of us have never met each other. Mostly we have just read each others posts and chatted away on our pages or here in our own SA4 room. When I finally coincided with Lynda in the chat room I left feeling like I had made a friend for life and was looking forward to one day meeting her and checking out her garden....

We should all go to Linda's page and express our condolences. If they are not directly e-mailed now perhaps Gath can work something out later.

From the look of Lynda's page, it looks as if most of us have shared our expressions of grief. Lynda shared herself with us and while we will miss her, its made more difficult by our inability to DO anything except speak of that loss.
I feel badly for those who have had an opportunity to grow even closer...Rayray, Mary and Rolanda, MizT ....may all of you feel the comfort that Lynda's passing was swift, but long enough that she was aware of the love others had for her.Peace!

RUBY, Yes, that is a lovely idea, making sure Peter gets the many messages of condolence. I have already asked Lynda's Peter if her messges to her page came to thier e-mail. Of course I have not heard from him, it was middle of the night in OZ before I sent that message. But I have offered to send copies to him of the messages, if he would like them. I will let you know when, if I hear from him again.

Will be taking more photos and emailing them next week. Not in the mood to take photos today...
This morning: the Carpet Cleaners are coming to clean the bedroom carpet.
Tonight: moving bedroom furniture back into the bedroom.
Tomorrow: get the house back to normal!! do a spring clean in Autumn!!!

Having grown up with an unusual name, my children were going to have 'normal' names..
like Robert Daniel , Stephen James .. should we have been blessed with a daughter she would have been called Catherine Jane

maybe a grand-daughter? In due time, of course!!!
