Went well at the Embassy this morn.. in and out in no time.. Pick up the passport and visa on Friday Morning.

Time to move into the Bog Swamp and become Ms Seamstress. and do some more sewing..

Bean, how about i wash it out with chocolate? Oh yeah, I remember, I would have to eat 2 salads and some very lean meat to add in a small piece of something chocolate. OH, have another fast blood sugar drop just so I could get 4 M&Ms. Naw, not worth it, that sugar drop left me feeling nasty for a whole 24 hours.

Good morning all. Hubby took the kids swimming for a little while. It is supposed to rain all afternoon. We are in the middle of a bad rainy spell. It is supposed to rain all week. I would complain but it is better than the drought conditions. Only 8 more days of school, plus one for teachers only. I don't know who is counting more, the kids or the teachers

Heidi, hope you are feeling better. My mom enjoyed our quick chat with you yesterday. I may have to buy her a webcam.

I'm feeling a bit better today. Nothing has come up, or threatened to do so.
Gonna have a quiet-ish day today. I probably need to work on laundry.... IH is getting ready for a trip to see his father. It's his 85th birthday this weekend. He may need to take another quick trip earlier in the week. His mother's last remaining sibling just passed away, and he's been asked to represent his branch of the family at the funeral, being the eldest.

VICI, she would have to put a baby on same feeding schedule as Survivor! Although I do not think it would be able to drink from a bucket as young.

YEAH, all the pieces of borders are sewn together, whew, celebration time here. I still need embroidery floss, still need to make that over an hour each way for a $1 or less item. Oh well.

My car is in shop, hopefully this time will cure the problem. It has not been reliable or drivable since December. I NEED MY CAR.

I got in some work on computer this morning, some way to sepnd holiday eh? But it was quite, no interuptions, that helps.

MizT: Your comment about Heidi & Survivor made me laugh!!
Yesterday we had rain, thunder, lightning AND a 2 hour power outage right in the middle of the basketball game!! Thank goodness it wasn't the Lakers playing, they play tonite!!! Hopefully, my voice will hold out! Screamed my head off the other night, score was back & forth for the whole game (Lakers won!!! YIPEE!!) Hubby bought me the EA sports workout for my Wii!!! Did 2 days of workouts, fun, but taking today off, a bit sore. There's cardio boxing, which was a hoot!!! I'm not so much looking to lose weight, as to keep the jiggly parts under control!!! Going to take care of some ffuts around the house, will try to be back later! Have a great day/night everyone! TTFN!

Happy Memorial Day topsiders, back here for a sec, still doing ffuts around the house...pushed the vacuum around (not easy with 3 floors to the house, works up a sweat!!), had lunch, etc. Hubby on overtime tonite. Slept badly last night, going to try to catch a nap before the Lakers game tonite...TTFN.

Suzanne, I am right here, taking a break from dodging thunder bumpers. Al had just said that the grass/weeds were about dry enough for weed eating, what with no rain for about 12 hours. Then rain came again.

OK, more thunder, I am shutting down again. No severe weather, just your garden variety summer T storm, but taking no chances with lightning.

I am here Suzanne but I do all the puzzles first. My computer keeps telling me MizT has her computer turned on.(or her msn does)
Just glanced up and realised I had a very red sky outside my window. Sunrise!

I ran out with Mitchell to make some copies for his report. We went 1.5 miles from the house. Got in the car, started to drive and saw lightning and heard thunder. By the time we got home it was pouring. Opened the garage door, hubby came out with an umbrella and then ducked right back in. I called him and told him we were going to sit in car. The storm was right over us. It was so bad, it started to hail. Mitchell and I sat in the car and watched the hail hitting the windshield. I just kept hoping that there would not be a piece big enough to crack the windshield. We were able to make a run for it after about 5 minutes. Hail pieces were about the size of a pea.

Sigh, morning rush is about to start. I hope their are clean school uniforms hanging around somewhere....

I am about to make dinner and try to get the kids ready to go back to school. It will be hard after a 3 day weekend.
