Another surprise TOPP!
My scuba mask arrived today. It's wonderful. I actually have 20-20 vision with it! It looks good, too!

Since nobody else is posting here today, I might as well vent some frustration.
I have been arguing with eBay and PayPal lately. PayPal finally had an answer for me. I have been unable to access PayPal from eBay for the last 5 days. That makes it difficult to buy stuff. EBay has been denying that the problem existed at all. It's been as much fun as beating my head against a brick wall. Today a PayPal rep. told me that there is a glitch in the system involving the compatibility with the latest Mac software. Mac owners all over the country are having this problem. They are franticly working to fix it. I love it when people DON'T dismiss me, and actually pay attention to my concerns.

Happy hunting Heidi, it is nice to re provision the pantry.
Is Gath on vacation? I could understand his not approving an avatar over the weekend, but this is Monday, and still not approved. Hope to get it approved and ready for Cathi when she gets back.

My cold has taken hold - just when I am 'on' all day! Oh well, I'll do the best I can.
News story for the day.. I haven't done one of those since I started prac... a one week old puppy got flushed down a toilet - and survived!

Funny thing happened then. I ctrl-V'd and a paragraph on the composition of air showed up. I guess I forgot to ctrl-C on the link. Since I don't think you'd be interested in the composition of air I changed it back...

I didn't forget about posting, but my pooter was not working for a few days. Had a man in today and he fixed it. It had something to do with my password. How is everyone. Weather is very hot about 93 degrees. Summer is here to stay until Oct.

Hello everyone! Back from Long Island. Meghan is in Zurich. She'll be leaving there tomorrow morning to fly on to Turkey.
Have severe thunderstorm warnings with hail at the moment. Nothing has happened yet though. Maybe it will blow over.
I have to catch up on everything!
Hope everyone is well. I'll try to catch you later. Have a great day!

My patio umbrella is up in a tree.
Dennis is finally asleep. Let's hope he stays that way 'cause another wave of storms is due to hit soon.

8 planets and 1 subplanet cut out of cardboard ready for year 7 today. Now lets hope it stops raining for long enough for them to play with them in the fields!
Heidi, I couldn't help it. I know I would be upset if it was me, but the picture of a patio umbrella up in a tree made me smile! How rotten am I?!

Heidi, had the same thing happen twice, last year and year before, except the umbrellas flew up and then bounced along the ground until the ribs were adequately broken, no trees in that direction to catch them. I do not have a patio umbrella this year.
The umbrellas were not opened at the time of those storms, either.

A previous umbrella actually flew over our house, landing in a crumpled heap in the front yard. I'm just confused as to how this umbrella got up there. We had no wind to speak of.... just sheets of rain coming straight down, and lots of thunder and lightning. It was a slow moving storm.

Thanks Heidi! I tried to resize the avatars you sent me using shrinkpictures.com (50 pixels) and it didn't resize them right. Is it because of the original shape of them or did I do something wrong?

Brenda... thanks for the link. That was deja vu all over again. I haven't lost a bunch like that, just one cow and one steer. With the cow, it was weird... she was standing next to a creek and the thunderstorm was 20 miles away. It actually carried all that way through the water. I wouldn't have believed it if the Vet hadn't confirmed lightning strike as the cause of death. The steer was standing in the creek when he got a direct hit.

Yeah, but these 2 were 68x56 and 100x58. I tried to resize them with shrinkpictures.com and they were still not accepted. No big deal, ok? I appreciate your help.

I have a temporary fix on eBay. PayPal had me download Firefox, and go to eBay on that instead of Safari. I don't like it anywhere as much, but it does allow me to pay with PayPal.
