Hi Nola, two days to go - counting today. I have to take a year 9 class today. I don't know the kids and the teacher has me doing 7 experiments almost simultaneously.... Might be okay if I had a brain!

I got a frustrating call. There was a mix-up. I don't have details yet. I have to reorder the door to my tractor that I ordered 2 weeks ago!

Suzy..you must have a brain to do teaching.Bit tough having 7 experiments, dose up on the cold and flu capsules.I bet you will be soooo glad to finish!
What a b###er Heidi.Suppose the heat would be better to stand than the cold in the tractor without a door.

Hi, Everyone.
I called my mom's parents Grandma and Grandpa. My dad's mom was Grandma Rose. My In-laws were named by their first grandchild so they are called Gram and Papa. I started calling my parents grandma and grandpa but Mitchell had other ideas. My parents are Bobbi Gram and Papa Bernie. Those are Mitchell's names and they stuck. My brother does not have kids.

Suzanne,I have just bought a crock pot.If you have one, maybe a pork and veg casserole or marinade them?
So,it is still cool where you are.
Our winter has begun which I am not fond of.I live in the sub tropics because I prefer the warmer weather. It NEVER snows here, but to me is is cold enough. We moved from tropical Townsville to Adelaide and expereince the hottest summer in 60 yrs to the coldest winter in 20 yrs in the same year.Daughter was 7 and she asked why can't we live where it is nice all the time.Wish there was such a place.

I have a Hamilton Beach grill (Like the George Foreman). The only problem is Darrell hates cleaning it!! The rule in my house, whoever cooks, the other does dishes...THAT is why I do most of the cooking!!!

Suzanne... I have that rule too. I go on strike when IH lets the dishes pile up, but demands food at a specific hour.

Suzanne, tomorrow is my birthday, we topsiders get a 2 day celebration cause it is tomorrow in Oz already. We will go out to lunch and shopping tomorrow. Hubby wants to pick up a cake mix and bake me a birthday cake, he can cook, just does not do so often.

OH Saturday I will go to a quilt show. I shall buy myself a present from the vendors there. hehehe I am thinking an applique foot for my sewing machine, some threads I need and whatever else strikes my fancy. I am meeting a couple of quilting friends, and I think we will do lunch together, so I get to spread my celebration over half the week. that is fine with me.

MizTricia, I hope you have a great time at the quilting show. I enjoy shows like that, especially with friends.

I do the dishes, but the beastie boys unset the table and put a lot of it away. They also help unload the dishwasher. Mitchell now makes our lunches. He has become good at making sandwiches.

HI all.... Seems as if I'm the only "Big Mom here....I selected that name after a lovely woman from my childhood...a family friend, who was one of the kindness folks I knew. Sully was known as Pop Pop. My own grandparents were Grand mom and Pops. My sister was the original Mamacita in the family...that's why I'm Mamacita 2...the secrete is now exposed....lol
