Greetings friends, I am back after a good sleep and noone has been around. It is hot and hotter again today, so what is new, it is summer.

I will not be going to my quilt show today. Car trouble, I am very dad about that, This happens only every 2 years, long time to wait for it again.

therefore I have nothing planned for today. Maybe i will just do nothing all say. Reading and computer can count as nothing.

Has anybody heard from eea? I miss her furry little nose here on the site.

OOOPS, that should have read no one has been around in over 3 hours. I did not mean to imply that Rolanda, CynB and Broni were nobodies, sorry ladies.

Night all!
Lightning off in the distance so I came in to shut down the computer before heading off to bed. MizT, I'm so sorry to hear about the quilt show - you have been looking forward to that for a while. My connection is still wacko - you should see what this page looks like! It's lucky I can read it. Rolanda, it's sooooo close!

Well MizT, you have been to bed and arose again. Yes the quilt show, so sad that you missed that it was part of your Birthday celebrations, but the good thing is Al and you are both safe and sound. Better than car troubles out in the middle of nowhere.

MizT... I have not heard from our furry nosed friend in a long time... probably 3 months. She sent me a PM then saying she was REALLY busy. I miss seeing her on these pages something fierce.

Heidi, I knew it had been a long time, but no idea it had been that long. If you hear from her again, tell her I asked about her.

It is not yet 9 am and the temp is almost 90. It never cooled own over night, last night. and humidity is thick, today will be another miserable day outside and a challenge for our AC to keep us cool inside. this is just the first day of summer, too, oh my! I should go out and water flowers, they need lots of cooling drinks this hot weather.

HEIDI, send cool breezes, please.

Topic for discussion today: what did you have for breakfast. And What is your favorite breakfast, if calories and cholesterol did not count?

This morning I am having a bowl of oatmeal, with fresh sliced, first of the season Chilton County peaches, yummy.

On of my formerly favorite breakfasts was pancakes, fried eggs and sausage, yummy.

I do hope to have time today to make a peach crisp. I bought a basket of those peaches yesterday, need to start using them.

Favourite breakfast has to be a full English breakfast:- Bacon, sausage, blackpudding, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans and fried bread or toast.
Special occasion breakfast, normally have a bowl of cereal, banana and milk.

Weather here started of bright and sunny but by 10am the clouds came over and it turned chilly and breezy. Even so I have had to water the garden with the hosepipe as we haven't had very much rain lately.

everyone!! Hope you are all having a good day/nite. Slept badly again last night. Going to try to catch a nap in a bit, Darrell just left for work. Don't know if he's on overtime yet, but if he does get the o.t., I can usually sleep better. Here's hoping!!

My favorite breakfast would have to be a southern breakfast. Eggs, country ham, grits, buscuits and gravy and a botttomless cup of coffee. It could have bacon and sausage also. Tastes really good but not the best for your health.

Morning all!
Breakfast time is not my favourite time to eat, but I can eat breakfast at any time of the day! I love most cereals, and I used to love pancakes with bacon, eggs and sausage. Lets not even think about the cholesterol and fat in that mixture!

I know when I'm in line at a store, I get really p*ssed off when someone calls on the phone and the person behind the counter helps them before they help the people who made an effort to actually come in the store.
