Since she's my namesake, I'll have to be protective of her, myself.
Explain things to her, don't yell.

Bella did not need a walk today, was too busy finding anywhere to hide and still got cornered in by two little girls, but at least she is good with little people. way too scared! The newborn increasing her lung capacity had her tipping her head on the side.

Fantastic!!!
I cannot believe the difference around here since Lady left. It's become the Peaceable Kingdom. No fights, no squabbles even! The dogs sure appreciate the difference.

The dogs are finishing their suppers, so I'm off to bed now. It's rapidly approaching 2 am here. And I hear the rain starting again. There are thunderstorms predicted any time. I hope they miss us. I'm getting tired of them.

Mama, tears are a good release, if you would care to share I would love the link to the Father's Day tribute by your son. You did not mention what other drama's are happening around you?
Rola, yes have a wongerful trip and lots of pics when you return, safe travels.
Suzanne, just love Heidi (the dog not you sweetie)for what she is, they are not around that long and it was only dirt. BTW Tegan the 4yo found the boarder's bucket full of sump oil he had left out in a bucket that is now full of water from all the rain.
Heidi, we did manage to have the BBQ on the side deck, the rain held off and went around us while the visitors were here.
Bean, scambled eggs topped with smoked salmon yummmm!
Zusy vent away, what else are we here for???
Hey Cyn, midriffs???? Pot calling the kettle black?

Broni, glad the weather held off. Suzanne, get a good night's sleep tonight. Heidi, hope the time passes quickly until your epidural. Glad the dogs have calmed down. Cyn, my mother washed the towels! Rolanda, soooo close - and i still haven't seen my shorts :). Gail, glad all is well, but think we'll have to chat to him and let him know about priorities...

This may be a little late in the day for anyone to see but a friend just sent me this YouTube link. The boys are apparently 14 & 15 years old. It's quite nice. Take a look.

Good morning all. Just stopping by for a minute. Have to go pick up bagels. The in-laws are coming over for father's day brunch. SIL and BIL are also coming. Just to tempt everyone, we are having: bagels, cream cheese, smoked salmon, blintz casserole, white fish salad, coffee and dessert. Hope all who celebrate have a wonderful father's day.

Good Morning Sudokuland! It is a clear and breezy day so far, beginning to warm up out there. I have been up almost 3 hours getting things done fore it gets hot hot again today.
I have cooked fresh corn on the cob ( sent from neighbors garden) salmon patties, and have peeled and sliced fresh peaches for a peach crisp. OH also watered my containers, fed and watered the outside cat.
I left the other 4 ears of corn for hubby to shuck and clean, 4 was my limit, hands and wrists began to complain. I will do those later and put into freezer. Having a neighbor with a garden is soo nice.

TAMI, I will need to google some of your dishes for recipes, fore I decide if they are yummy or not. I am not familiar with all of them. Hope you and your guests all have a great time at brunch.
CynB, seems I have a problem with the sound on my computer, so could not enjoy your link. I have sent a request for the resident computer geek to make a repair call today, but I think it will go to the bottom of his list. He needs to be auto mechanic today first.
Suzy, hope all your clothes get dry over night. When I need to dry clothes indoors, I put them on clothes hangers and hang over the shower curtain rod, put a fan in the doorway, and by morning they are dry. Towels now, would be a different matter.
Broni, hope everyone had a good time at your BBQ. Now children about is one way to give Bella her exercise hehehe.
HI GAIL, yes, we need to speak with he who does not work much and tell him that she who still has chores also needs time for chatting, it is required.
Mamacita, I know today will be a bitter sweet day for you, hope the good memories of past Father's Days with hubby and family help you cope. Do come and talk to us, if you can, about whatever dramas you have going on. Problems shared make for a lighter load, and we are good at sharing.
HEIDI, hope your t storms slack off, poor doggies, being so very afraid. I should send up some of this hot, sunny weather your way.
Suzanne, hope you slept better last night.
Rolanda, Can you see the bed in the spare room? I imagine all your things scattered about, leaving only a hint of the bed peeking through hehe. Will it all fit? Did you leave room for the souvenirs you will be buying?
OK, time to finish my cooking, but I needed the break,
Hugs to all.

Sudokuland!! Just poured my first cuppa coffee!! I slept pretty well last night, Heidi (my dog) started barking at SOMETHING (heavens knows what) at 5:30 this morning. Got up, didn't see anything, went back to bed, stayed in till 8:15. Feel pretty good, gotta feed the animals shortly. Looks like we may get more rain, sky getting dark, temperatures in the 50's. Hope all is well with everyone.
Tami: Brunch sounds YUMMY!!!! Wish I could be there!! Have a great time with everyone!

I'm back. I forgot to mention the devilled eggs and bloody mary's for today's brunch. Everything went well and we had a great time. Now I get to rest for a couple of hours. We are going to my parents tonight. Mom wanted to bring in cold cuts. We all said no. My brother said he would pick up something. After a bunch of phone calls and everyone saying "I don't care, what do you want?" I came up with the solution. I called my brother and told him we had a unanimous decision, whatever he decided to pick up. I wonder what is for dinner?

Hi All of You S.A'ERS,
Yes today is a bittersweet day, but I am coping pretty well...Just finished baking two cinnamon loafs and the house is smelling wonderfully fragrant.
Broni, I'd love to put a link to the tribute here, and I also have a great YouTube that I'd like to share here....BUT....I Don't Know How....tell me and I will make the attempt!
If you do come to the U.S..let us know so we can figure out how to get most of us together....Please.
As for the drama.....I have been suffering like a sick dog with allergies...not my usual short termed stuff, but all nine yards of problems and on top of that my sinuses became infected...then Jazz almost choked to death on a stick...Picture me standing outside in the rain, the dog desperately trying to dislodge the stick, rolling in the mud, with me screaming like a stuck pig for help, as tears stream down my face, wheezy sounds and hoarse voice making it difficult to be heard or understood....But... one of my neighbors did manage to hear me...She's a nurse and came flying out of the house with cell phone in hand, prepared to call 911....She proformed the heimlich maneuver on the dog to get said stick out...only to discover that the stick is now wedged on the roof of his mouth, stuck between his teeth in a horizontal position. It took three neighbors holding him while I finally dislodged the stick from his mouth...poor baby was sooo tired, but quickly recovered...and all turned to me and insisted that I go in and stay in the house....one bossy old friend even took over the dog walking for a couple of days...That was good since I was still sore from my fall off of the scooter....However, things are now calming down and I am slowly getting over the soreness and the infections...now I need to work on sleeping ....thanks ladies....I am in good hands here and hope now that the bad stuff is out of the way, I can concentrate on getting those links for all to see.

MAMACITA, You have had a lot going on lately, hope it is smother sailing for you from now on.
I have one question for you. Just how did you manage to fall off your scooter? Were you hot rodding that thing? Pop a wheelie and loose control? You be careful, as we get older, little falls hurt more and take longer to recover. Hope all is well soon and you are your former self again.
