Hi Suzy: Darrell's $$ does come in handy, it's also nice that I don't have to work unless I want to (with my Mary Kay business). I really DO miss Mike a lot, he has been a great friend to both of us...It gets lonely with the overtime, but he gets 3 days off a week and Thursday is my day to go where I want. Thank you for your friendship & concern. I sometimes enjoy the time to myself.

I would have done that but I can't type and touch my head at the same time. Besides that my head is a bit sore this morning - late night last night.

Suzanne, what a great idea to have 'your' day. I'm guessing Darrell asks where you want to go and chauffeurs you? Noice hubby!

Suzy: He DOES chauffer me and takes me wherever I want to go. I was supposed to go out tomorrow with my buddy Janet, but her daughter Ashley's car decided it didn't want to work anymore, transmission problem. We've postponed till next Wednesday. Not sure where I want to go Thursday. If it's nice, maybe Park City. There's an outlet mall there that I like alot.

Suzanne, My lawnmowers are all hairy and tall. There's a young frisky brown one who likes to hog all the food, and an old white haired lady who had to be given lots of time to eat undisturbed as she is missing most of her teeth. That means she gets to be inside while the young one is in the paddock. I'm getting better at remembering to put her out after she's eaten so my tangello and lemon trees are starting to get their leaves back. Not the same kind of luck for the apple trees yet...

Morning all --- Not even going to try to remember all the names-just hi all --- Wow have we had some nasty weather down here -- windy -- heaps of rain -- getting home last night,was a bit hairy,trees and branches down all over the roads, and then some flooding, I love extremes in the weather.

although they have been known to be wrong -- I surely hope they are wrong, as I would hate to see more of those fires.

I hope there are no more fires, either. Starting one should be a capital offense. The pure devastation caused is terrifying.

Hi to everyone else - Stella, Suzanne, Bobbi (Tami, we miss you), Rena and I know I've missed someone.

Getting quotes today to insulate our ceiling and take advantage of Govt's $1600 contribution towards it. First quote is $1868 so $268 for us to pay - sounds OK. That is without getting the double garage insulated - pointless.
Then off to the hairdresser for a trim and dye the regrowth this afternoon.

The Eastern States Family, are all heading/at home, except for 3 of them.
Young Simon gone on this morning's bus to Busselton for a few days, visiting a friend.
1 Cousin and Hubby are here in WA for a couple of weeks, they are somewhere traveling.
The others
2 girl cousins left Sunday Afternoon.
1 girl cousin left yesterday.
My Cousin, friend, Uncle and Aunt on the noon plane to Sydney.

And I am out of here..
take mum to her Specialist Appt.
then do some Grocery Shop, not that I need to buy much, will hardly seem worthwhile going.. get some fresh veg, bread...
Then have a mountain to feed that machine
and back to flinging again, guess the tribe will be wanting to fed this eve!!

Hello everyone. Hope you're all happy today and the sickies are feeling better.
Cold here today, but better than yesterday, no actual rain at the moment. Yesterday Rob got sent home early so he could avoid the wild weather - didn't work, he still got soaked to the skin! It was COLD, dark and wet here all day, AND I had to turn the computer off because of lightning, etc ... bloody miserable!
Went to the dentist yesterday - twice. First time for a check-up - no holes! :) - then went back to start getting my teeth whitened. One front tooth is dead (got hit in the face with a surfboard when I was a young'un - OUCH!) so they are bleaching it, and later will try to match the colour and make the rest of my teeth all shiny. At least it's not painful. I will (with any luck) look beautiful for the wedding! ;)

Hi, Judy! Sounds busy at your place. Wow - 2 dentist appointments. Of course, you'll look beautiful for the wedding!

And now, friends, I must prepare for bed. I'd like to make it by 10:30, as we need to get up at 4:30 in the morning to drive 1 1/2 hours to the airport. I'll miss all of you! Watching "America's Got Talent" and there is a woman named Barbara Padilla who sings opera. She did a version of Andrea Bocelli's "Con Te Partiro" that was BEAUTIFULL!!! I usually don't vote on these shows, but I am going to vote for her, what a set of pipes!!! AND she is a 10-year cancer survivor!! (A cause VERY close to my heart!!)

I had more to say, but CRAFTS has set in again ( I really think it might be a permanent condition--Got it from TTT!!!)

Have just returned from dropping Lachie off at school. He normally works but we felt like a detour via the sushi shop..we LOVE sushi...

There is a massive clean up operation going on there...lots of trees have lost branches ... the caretaker is being kept VERY busy...piles of freshly sawn wood everywhere. Must have been a sight this morning!

Had a long chat with Vici.. this is about the longest we've gone without chatting for such a long time. Her voice still sounds like she has been sick but is MUCH better than it was last Friday when I spoke to her. I am greatly relieved... I do not like my friends being sick.

and now I must get out of here... losts of stuff still to do ... haven't finished pruning the roses yet..
