Well hello lovely SA people and welcome back Becky - nice to see you around. Wasn't it also lovely to get plenty of visits from the Easy people while there were site problems.
Trust me to miss it all - Christmas party last night and spent all day until now putting up and decorating my Christmas tree as well as other inside decorations and lights. Hubby still finishing outside because a storm hit earlier but at least it's cooled the temps to a manageable degree.
Love you all, back later - can't remember a thing anyone said so I have to reread 3 pages.
Oh, one thing - Suzy (and any others), if you want another zoo friend, Karin is there for you too. I should have said that yesterday when I was talking to Tami about it (they are now FB friends).

I just found out that the Muslims don't show up until after noon tomorrow. I can sleep in!

I have to wait for the Collies to finish eating, then I can go to bed.

The Lovebirds will be here in 3 days. I think I'm ready for them. I'm well stocked with food, treats and toys, as well as having a roomy cage for them.

Just coming out of a turkey stupor...that and my hand that was stung by the meat bee was swollen for the past 4 days. It's finally getting back to a normal size. I had to take antibiotics and antihistamines...very weird reaction!

Looks like I missed all the excitement of folks popping in here when Easy was down. Thanks for seeing them through, Heidi!
I must head off to scrabble where I know I am long overdue for play.

GOOD NEWS!!! Mike (Doc) will be here on leave Dec. 3 or 4. Not sure how long he will be home...Can't wait to see him!!! He's like another brother to me. Told him that prayers were said, he wanted me to tell everyone thanks. Will update further soon. Going to try to take a nana nap today...hopefully. I found a new hobby, jewelry making. Got some pretty glass beads in a kit, made 2 necklaces (so far), one for mom, one for my Aunt Sandra. Sending get well wishes to those ailing. Good afternoon all. Just took the kids out for a little while and posted my rant on the other site. There is a place near me that has video games, laser tag, roller skating and other activities. They give free tokens for A's on report cards. They say it needs to be within 2 weeks. The kids got there report cards on the 12th. I took them today and was told the offer expired on Friday. I thought with the Thanksgiving holiday they might extend a day or so. Not only did they not extend it, the manager was a little rude. So I became a little ruder. I told my boys to cash in the tickets we had from our last trip, that we would not come back here. I would take them to a similar place instead. It wasn't til I told the boys we were leaving that The manager said she was going to give the boys 20 tokens each. Originally she made it sound like she did not care. On our way out I saw a group of people bringing in their kids. I told them what happened. I think they were a little upset because they brought the report cards also.

Tami.... publicizing it... loudly... often gets the best results. Good for you.

Well, I should have my brekkie now... I know, it's afternoon, but I haven't eaten yet..... then fire up my tractor. I need to feed hay to the cows, then go help the Muslims. The tractor is needed to lift the carcasses to dress them out. A few people cannot hold up a 1,000 carcass.
